Curious about one for python as well

I've had the most success with emacs-plus [1]. It's the most optimized for mac specifically with some good flags that you can make a custom build if there are features you do or don't want.

It's a more expensive answer, but I run my Apple TV through the HDMI passthrough of my receiver so I can have audio play without the TV actually being on. It's the closest I have come to the Express days. More commonly I just go bluetooth to the receiver as I live in a small apt

This happened to my machine! It fried almost all my peripherals including causing my USB keyboard to spark and smoke (ruining a $300 HHKB). After a bunch of frustration and a long week, Apple just replaced the logic board, but I am afraid the problem will return. I recommend bringing your computer in on any sight of weird shocks or sounds before all your data is fried.

Youtube is about it, YT Music app for mobile (all unfortunately)

Tramp mode in emacs is the closest I have seen to something like this. The dream is a beefed up cloud server hosting and executing code, while you just use your local resources to run emacs

Map it to ctrl and emacs is unstoppable :)

This fact alone, after several years of changing schema and migrations, led to us having major rewrites and porting over to much more hands off approach. It's an understatement how much AR has led to just confusion especially with new employees!

I don't think HN has an official app, iirc. I just save the bookmark to my home screen

Pros: - If you're familiar with Javascript or React, you'll feel right at home without having a huge learning curve. - Duplicate code for Android, iOS, web and even check out react-native-web - npm and JS lib ecosystem is huge - You can reach the metal on both Android and iOS if you need to

Cons: - Fast moving project that is constantly updating (good and bad). Can be hard to keep updated and upgrading can be a pain - Documentation is ok but standard practices are missing

How does Slate compare to draft in package size? I find that including Draft for simple simple simple WYSIWYG editing to be enormous. I don't have the exact size on me, but it made my bundle huuge

It sounds like you may enjoy working in open source. I would suggest finding an employer than embraces open source and allows you to spend time working on those projects.

Any company can always use improvements to tools such as build tools like webpack, etc. The entire community benefits from those improvements and that may align with your interests.

Probably left to the developer and their server to re-populate the data, as needed, in the other devices
