I wonder which UN number they put on the orange plates...

I've attended CCC in Berlin a couple of years, big fun. But this is 20 years ago! Luckily, my employer is sponsoring a visit to KubeCon in London this year.
But the scheule is brutal, just see the list of parties: https://conf.party/kubecon-eu-2025.html?ref=cloudnative.now
Who is joining?
As a German, I find your question is strange. And a Bit pittyful. I hope you can stand the Peer pressure and care for your wellbeing! Greetings fromm Bavaria
I couldn't care less, I'll just file a day of vacation for 2024-05-12 then...
oh, nice :( ... Just a coincidence, but I read today about PFAS pollution around the Munich Airport caused by the foam used with fire drills... Very much the tip of the iceberg, I assume :(
Sounds interesting!
Some years ago, I came across a recepie as flowchart graph. This idea appealed to me instantaneously, because a picture to me is a thousand times better than a lettersoup. Especially when I'm not constantly reading the text, but have to check the pots and pans regularly.
I think this markup language could be used as input for an engine that generates nice recepie graphs.
And then an integration into the tandori.dev application?
I'm currently hooked up the "Pharmakologie Athlet" [1]. It's a full fledged, german language university lecture on pharmacology by Prof. Dr. rer. nat Stefan Frank. During COVID times, he decided to put his complete curriculum on Youtube.
Althou I have no medical background, I somehow manage to keep the pace with all the old biochemistry knowledge I picked up in grammar school 25 years ago. But it's a tough ride :)

Ah, bandlab is very nice. Thx für the suggestion!
Wicked! Thx!
hmmmhmm, nice... is there something similar for Android devices?
Thx for the information! I think my TV predates WebOS. Well, I'm using Kodi on a Raspberry Pi mostly anyway, but would be nice to use the TV itself aswell...
Very interesting piece of work, however unfortunely not targeting my LG TV from 2013. By any change, is anybody aware of a project to install alternative firmware on such an ancient box? -- Cheers, Jürgen
Interesting! While the idea definitely offers advantages, I'd be keen to know what changes would have to be done in the Departure Control Systems (DCS). There needs to be connection to Customer Management (CML), Reservations (RES), Ticketing (TKT), Payment (PAY), etc...
I was employed with Amadeus Data Systems for more than 10 years, have left during COVID period.
This sounds like a big effort. I wonder how Lufthansa pulled this off in 2021...
Nice is the one city that has 100% nice weather...
My first try to post in HackerNews, hoping this fits the spirit. I was amazed to see the features of these pencil pens.
Are these pencils common where you live? Here in Germany, they are known, but rather seldomly used...
Incomplete without a Test of Händlmeier sweet mustard. Ask any bavarian...
I did my first internship in IT in 1999 and worked for the predecessor of NTT Data in Germany. They generously offered me some domains for free "for lifetime".
Somewhen in the mid-2000s, I decided to add another domain to my account: "sonneausdemarsch.de" (sunshine out of the arse.de). Unluckily, they noticed I'm no longer on their paylist and they cancelled the subscription completely.
So long, my "lifetime" account :(
This is also how I lost marienkinder.de (marienkinder being a technophobic christian cult with the most hilarious pamphlet brochures you can imagine.
Ah, those were the times :D
