Mostly PHP/Mysql, but I've built an photo blogging Android app and a iphone app with login, xml parse, form submission.

I created a dumby facebook account to get ahold of some friends who dont use email. After about a week facebook gave me an ultimatum, give them my phone number or upload a color picture of my drivers license. I decided to say good bye to facebook.

Why would anyone try to figure something like this out? I don't think any real hackers are going around trying to figure out how to kill people, they want money or something else of value (not to say a life doesn't have value).

Why as a community are we allowing things like this to happen, even worse, publicizing them and acting like its 733t and impressive. If something like this happened at anything other than the 'Black hat' security conference this wouldn't be alright.

Unfortunately it seems that sometimes too much information leads to apathy, if we know all the problems of the world our ability to affect change in any single one seems diminished. Maybe it would be better to know less and focus on that instead.

All I meant to say was that its easy to send custom headers to a server.

If you are using PHP:

With PHP you can create the headers at the top of the page, with python you can create a 'script' that sends custom headers to a server, thus you could tell the server that its a image via the headers but it could be something different ie a script... Any good developer will look out for this stuff though.

Thats enough to buy coffee for a month, in my books that success :D

A 'restart' or 'start over' button after the 'you lose' dialogue would be a nice addition.

I work from home and its depressing sometimes, but it could be my job, its pretty boring.

Maybe I have weak self-control but it takes more then 8 hours to get 7 hours of work done from home at least.

in this case everyone is hired as a consultant/contract worker.

yeah, even though godaddy does some weird stuff sometimes they do get it resolved quickly and without trouble.

I had the same problem, signed up last year, set it up a month later and now I'm getting time to renew emails. Also although its 'easy' to disable the auto-renew I've had products that still renewed after disabling the auto-renew.

Anyhow, I like that it now loads new stories as you scroll down the page, much better. Nice and visual too, although one thing someone else said is that the news market is pretty saturated.

I went to college, but was able to get 89% average with about 20 hours a week of homework/studying etc. The girl who beat me, as far as average goes got 99% but spent 60 hours a week on homework/studying.

I was able to tutor 10 students and build two serious web apps in that extra 40 hours a week, who do you think came out on top?

I'd like a job in DC too, however being a Canadian I assume its hard.
