This looks awesome, the owner of this substack is a good resource and writes lots of case studies.

I am not based in Portland myself but I run the ticketing and membership program for Synth Library Portland which is a really cool spot. The biggest thing with all these spaces is how to make it work financially over the long term.

Feel free to ping me.

This is sick - I happen to run a site for DIY and community organizations like yours. We have proven the best way to fundraise is to throw events like you did but to upsell people on a recurring donation when they get the ticket.

On the off chance you are throwing another event, I would love to help you raise much more than $800 one time (my site is https://withfriends.events/)

The entirety of my blog was written pre-chatgpt and pre-scheduled. You can even check the images I use for all blog posts which were the first generation of ai images from 2021 which are quite bad looking now. LLMs were too awful to use nor would I use them.

This applies per person. When startup founders realize their stock is actually worth a lot they form trusts and each one gets QSBS. Each trust must be to a different person.

I personally know people who stack 5-10 trusts for as many family members as they can. This appears to give them 50% more tax-free money (10 to 15 million) per person in their trusts.
