This looks great, excited to try it out

you're obviously joking, but it'd be interesting if you actually tried :)
people seem so caught up in founders' particular ideas at the pre-seed stage and forget that YC is investing in people - specifically: people who try. you can jokingly quip that you'd be better at forking vs code, but at the end of the day they're doing it - not "waiting for their check" - and you're making fun of them on the internet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
yes, we should be celebrating this. also, 1) cash comp was $1m and the $190m equity grant vests over 10 years, 2) see the comment posters username - are we surprised by this take? lol

nice, congrats on shipping
seems to be unnecessary criticism?
if you want it, build it :)
ignore the naysayers; nice job building out your idea
+1
Simone Giertz partners with Viam, a modern robotics platform founded by the co-founder and CTO of MongoDB, Eliot Horowitz, to build an autonomous charging robot for her custom Tesla truck.
(I work at Viam)
you could probably build this w/ current img-gen model tech! totally agree, absolutely crazy.
Awesome demo! Congrats on the launch guys
incredible!
Incredible website - congrats on launching
i don't know if i've ever seen such a lame comment in my life. go outside!!
thats why he shared mckenzie's website; he's the commenter
the blockchain is a solution to the Byzantine generals problem.
haven't used tailwind before - why is it particularly helpful for UI color palettes?
Sure, but you can avoid lifestyle inflation while still knowing your worth. At €9,000 / month (> €50 / hr), 2+ hours spent trying to save €100 just isn't the best use of your time.
My quick thoughts on a VC case: it's a $100M revenue company at ~500k sales / year. There's apparently 144M podcast listeners in the US, so you need 0.34% of that population to purchase your product each year. That may be an aggressive assumption, but investors also may think 'podcasts are a huge and growing market, even if this idea isn't the one that works out, there's a lot of potential in the "podcast creation" space'
@acnops this would be a great feature to implement in the back end to allow users to input a Youtube link rather than upload a file.
Cool product and nice landing page - clean and to the point.
Heads up: the format in which you've included links results in broken links when clicked
why does one take the time to comment something like this? If you're not interested just move on to the next post
I mean the whole point of capitalism is another leader can try to do better, and if they do the market will allocate them resources. It’s not like Elon was handed spacex with 8,000 employees; he built it up.
you yourself said the answer (reduce choices). just because it is obvious does not mean that it is not difficult. choose one thing to go deep on, and adjust as you learn more information. make sure you actually go deep though - don't just adjust as soon as things get difficult.
life is also really hard so try to have a sense of humor along the way - this is all one big game :)
what causes you to say much despised? I personally enjoy thumbs up v thumbs down - I find with 5 star ratings systems people resort to extremes and usually use it like a thumbs up/down anyway (1 star or 5 star)
Can you explain to me why you believe the benefit to society from donating to charity is often negative?
as an employee or customer?
it's a conclusion of the exact same reasoning
how is it clickbait? he said this pretty directly
really? what can you use to transfer money from the US to the Philippines "really fast at a really low cost"?
