with a slightly different approach, we've built a website so people can publish project ideas. since it's only a prototype, it's a bit messy right now but we'll release a new version at the end of the summer, with a specific category for weekend projects. http://www.gullibear.com/

thanks for the links guys. we are actually working on a website to allow anyone publish ideas and connect with others who would like to contribute to it. we've launched a prototype two weeks ago : http://gullibear.com/ and a new version is on its way. would be the sort of site you thought of ?
