How it was measured:

Both countries sent teams to climb the mountain using GPS and also trigonometry to make the final calculations.

“Once the surveyor’s beacon had been placed on the summit, surveyors at stations around the summit measured the distance from the six points to the beacon, which meant at least six triangles could be calculated to determine the mountain’s height,” Jiang Tao, associate researcher at the Chinese academy of surveying and mapping, told the state-run China Daily.

Chemotherapy was accompanied with steroids (to help with sickness) which made me stay awake almost all day. Instead of taking more meds to help with sleep, I had many productive nights working on an iOS hobby project.

It seems the requirement has been relaxed a bit:

"Puerto Rico Senate Bill 864 increases the potential impact of Act 22 by expanding who qualifies for the tax break. I got the feeling the article discusses the topic in the context of Boston/Cambridge startup scenery, not necessarily nation wide. As Boston is trying to define its own ecosystem, it needs to find a place where startups can grow. That place might be Kendall Square.

From my experience, developers who rely on visual interfaces don't understand Git as well as developers who mostly use CLI. When relying on visual interfaces, at some point Git stops being the powerful tool it is.

This article is mostly about Square; it really doesn't discuss what other startups are doing in the "retail revolution".
