Also glad that the article confirmed that they don't use MoCap. It was such a great choice. I recently watched another visually exquisite animation movie on Netflix (the one in the Bright universe). There they used completely flat shading to achieve toon look for characters and environment, but made the characters move with MoCap animations. It looked very eerie.

A general rule of thumb is the older the written word, more valuable it is. Accordingly, the books that have been around for a while and are still well-known they give highest value from the time you invest in reading them. The content on Internet is mostly about current events and it lacks the depth that old books have. News or opinions on current events will most likely become irrelevant and obsolete. The stuff worth reading will survive the test of time and you can read it in future. Staying up-to-date with current happenings is overrated, because most of those things don't happen our daily life. Therefore best invest your time reading meaningful books.

There is a more serious impact of downgrading if you were hosting a static website from a private repository on github with a pro account. Apparently that's not supported with free account. I believe there's not much value in making games that run in browser and served from website. But real value of Babylon like Javascript libraries lies in their portability. I would use Electron like framework to create desktop app for my Javascript game created using Babylon, then sell it on Steam. Unity and Unreal are good portable options, but they lack the complete open nature of web technologies. They have their own private scripting languages that are not portable. A game engine written in Javascript is therefore more valuable.

It's not Electron that has performance issues, but the apps aren't probably coded properly. I've been developing my app using electron for a year now and haven't seen it hog cpu/memory unless it's a bug in my application.

That must be the fault of the app than the Electron framework itself.

In public forum, anonymity is achieved by pseudonimity (one has to go to a trouble of creating account under fake name). But a service that doesn't have logins, the anonimity is default and easy.

Great stuff. I was hoping somebody would integrate source code cross referencing with Git. Hopefully Github will integrate your tool with all their repos and it will be seamless for end users.
