Apparently some other HMD devices (HMD 105, HMD 110) use "RTOS". Most likely their proprietary feature phone OS, don't expect it will provide an option for user-installable apps.

No, it uses RTOS Touch. Looks like HMD/Nokia gave up on KaiOS a few years ago.

As few people pointed out, this article was written in 2023 and it's intentionally focused just on pricing – I planned a follow up about accuracy and other aspects, but Superface pivoted away from multi-provider API abstractions and I was laid off.

So for me this is more of a time capsule of what Superface used to be about. I'm glad if you found the article still useful and the discussion here is really informative, but I won't be updating the article any further. Thanks for understanding!

The difference is that Truth Social never intended to federate, while Gab was defederated and isolated by the community. You can still federate with Gab if you own your server.

These abstract metalanguages are still somewhat limited by the underlying base of HTML and CSS. Some things simply can't be accomplished with CSS, no matter how many SASS macros you write (e.g. reparent an element), or you'll just end up with lot of code to do tasks which would be simple with HSS.

I believe that point of AXR is to replace this underlying base, with something more suitable for web applications. You could still use a metalanguage on top of it (maybe with some tweaking) - you can write XML using HAML anyway.

So, if the scrobbling API is the same like Last.fm's, there's slight chance some client (player plugins) could support Like.fm thanks to Libre.fm (yay, Micronesian registrar must be very profitable). For example, in Quod Libet's QLScrobbler plugin you can choose to which URL to scrobble, instead of post.audioscrobbler.com you can use turtle.libre.fm or any other URL. And there's much more clients - http://bugs.foocorp.net/projects/librefm/wiki/Clients
