There's nothing wrong with getting a referral fee for signing up people. It's when most of your income comes from signing up new people instead of the product you're supposed to be selling that it becomes fishy.

I don't get whitedotbox. Why would someone give up 50% of potential revenue when they can use adsense for search and keep 100% of the payout.

I love people who fearlessly operate like this:

"After the Ekofisk find, he had to train new recruits. “I, of course, accepted that I am teaching people so that they can make my existence unnecessary … What choice did I have? I had only one hope, and that is that through my contribution, I would become indispensable, which I did.”"

Prosper is Back 17 years ago

I took out a small loan with prosper 3 years ago and it's definitely a quick and easy way to get cash if you have good credit.

He didn't say his account was suspended, right? It's just that he screwed up how the conversions work and therefore google stopped showing ads because they weren't converting. Sounds like adwords is working perfectly.

Am I the only who checks my adwords account almost daily when I have a campaign running? A month seems like a long time to wait, plus you'd expect to see regular charges in your bank/credit account.

Must have an age filter. Only show me people OVER 18.

Credits for slides confused me. Why not do it based on the average number of slides needed for a class or presentation?

$99 gets you 1 presentation, $149 gets 2, $399 unlimited for the year.

How to sell 17 years ago

Just do it. Read some books. I like Harry Beckwith's books, also The Ultimate Sales Letter: Attract New Customers. Boost Your Sales by Dan S. Kennedy.

Highlight the benefits over features of whatever you're selling such as "Increases sales" vs "1000 of x with the pro plan."
