I experimented with TikTok to promote my apps. Slideshows/carousels with caption overlays worked well, but creating them was a hassle.

So I developed SlideReels, a project that streamlines the process and integrates AI for faster results. Check it out if you're interested!

No, we didn't build an LLM from scratch but built on top of the open-source Llama 3.2. Most AI therapy apps I've tried seem to be just wrappers around the OpenAI API with a system prompt, but that gives very different results. We don't store exact chat histories, which are only locally on your device, but rather summaries and profile building. We have many security measures in place, and since we use our own hosted model, chats will never be sent to a third party like OpenAI.

We’ve poured months into crafting what I believe is the best AI therapist out there.

Unlike many other apps, this isn’t just another AI wrapper. From day one, we realized that an AI designed to act as a therapist would require its own fine-tuned model that could learn from you over time.

We needed an AI that could be conversational and supportive, capable of asking the right questions to lead to new insights rather than jumping to conclusions. We spent a lot of effort refining and tweaking it, working with respected psychologists to ensure its effectiveness. I continue to be blown away by the results.

Now that it’s available as a mobile app, you’ll have a companion to talk to about anything on your mind—whether through chat or voice. Plus, it gets way better over time. The longer you use it, the better it gets to know you and it can support you.

While some may find it strange or believe that people should only visit human therapists, AI therapy will become increasingly normalized. There are several reasons for this:

1. Shortage of human professionals: Many people face long waiting times before they can get help. AI therapists are available 24/7, whenever you need them.

2. Affordability: Human therapists can be costly, making them inaccessible for some. AI therapy is very affordable.

3. Overcoming barriers: For many, it is scary to take the first step of talking to a stranger about their problems. An AI therapist doesn’t judge and is more approachable.

Will AI fully replace human therapists? No, it will not replace that human connection. But it does have its place, and it continues to improve. Many people find it beneficial to chat with an AI regularly about their thoughts and emotions.

For more serious mental health concerns, seeking help from a professional is crucial. Never solely rely on an AI. Our app and the AI itself will continue to remind you of that. However, for many, AI can serve as a valuable complement to human therapy.

Many people facing everyday challenges may not feel the need to see a human therapist. We all go through tough times. Nearly half of all people will encounter some form of mental well-being challenge in their lives, and one in four will experience it each year. An AI companion that listens, provides clarity, and encourages a healthy lifestyle and social connections can be quite helpful for many people.

While it may not be for everyone, it’s already making an impact on many. I’m excited that, with the launch of the mobile app, support is now more accessible than ever!

I've been trying all kinds of videos on TikTok, mostly to grow my audience or drive traffic to my websites. Nothing has worked so far. Then, I posted a few slideshows from images with text captions overlay, and they performed much better than my videos.

I created a simple tool to make creating these images much easier and turned it into a simple product. You can start with AI or create them yourself, and then you can download the images and post them to TikTok.

Unfortunately, TikTok doesn't allow posting images on a desktop, so you must use the mobile app. If people like it and it gets some traction, I might add more features and try to build a TikTok integration so you can post directly from the app. For now, it's 100% free.

Hope it's useful for you and would love to hear feedback.

Today, we are launching MindPeace AI—your personal AI companion dedicated to improving your mental well-being.

Please join our launch on ProductHunt, we would appreciate your support: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/mindpeace-ai

Why MindPeace AI?

People are increasingly struggling with mental health, but many do not seek professional help. Sometimes, it is because of stigma, the fear of being judged, or simply the lack of access.

MindPeace AI breaks these barriers by providing an AI companion to help users begin their journey toward better mental well-being.

We offer a custom AI specialized for mental support—not just another chatbot. What makes it special is that it will also assign questionnaires, exercises, and learning programs you can follow at your own pace.

Sign up for free and meet your AI companion, available anytime, anywhere.

Hey everyone!

I've just scheduled the launch of MindPeace AI on Product Hunt for next week! It’s an AI therapist that offers support for mental well-being.

We've spent a lot of time training the model and working with mental health professionals to build the best solution. You can talk to your companion at any time, but we've also developed many learning resources that the AI can recommend based on your conversations.

We're looking forward to launching and improving it together with the community!

If you’re interested, here’s a link to get notified when it goes live: https://www.producthunt.com/products/mindpeace-ai

Thanks for all the support!

I'm very excited about a new project we're launching soon: MindPeace, an AI mental health companion.

It provides mental support whenever you need it and is always available.

We've been building the platform, training the model, and testing it on various topics, and it looks promising!

We have teamed up with psychologists to help us train the AI model and create additional learning resources.

The AI learns about you and adapts to your needs. It assigns questionnaires that you can complete to gain more insights. In addition, exercises and learning programs will be unlocked based on your conversations.

We're looking forward to launching it in a few weeks, getting it into people's hands, and starting to collect feedback.

Join the waitlist to get an email when we're live.

The number of AI therapists and AI-driven mental health apps is growing rapidly. This blog post includes a list of great AI-powered wellness apps.

I liked the idea that a chrome extension can check the content of your current page so you can instantly ask questions. For example, when you read an article you can click the icon and ask for a summary without having to copy/past the text into a chat box.

But yea a desktop app will also be really cool. I haven't tried it yet but something like SwiftGPT (https://www.swiftgpt.app/) looks promising.

Hm yea I indeed, guess that could also work. For most roles I'll be able to find a icon. Would you say just show those icons + roles by default and through the whole "Team" idea out the window? The name/domain/concept is kind of already focussed on that. But yea, if people don't like it it's better to make changes.
