Businesses don't need to provide a perfect experience to every one of their customers. If they did, they would. Like previously said, businesses are good at satisfying customer needs as dictated by their customers' wallets.

I don't think it's a scam, it's just a really hard problem that will take years or decades longer than originally promised.

I feel like this was a pretty popular position to take in 2017-2018, but it sure has aged like milk.
