It would be great to set limits on how much leave is scheduled at once or per quarter. My company says you should ask a manager if you book more than 25% of leave per quarter, so it would be good to know the max I can book without having to ask for permission.

I mean it is a quote from a guest on the Tim Ferriss podcast. Not exactly a font of anything other than received wisdom and LinkedIn platitudes.

Feels like this is not really a constructive critique of OPS argument. Indeed, it is merely them ensuring they can gain reach on the platforms they are critiquing, as opposed to screaming into the void as a Web 1.0 holdout.

Seems like the name, Morashon, is the pseudonym for the author, which is also a strange twist. I wonder if it's an anagram of Rashomon.

Not exactly -- his dad had died, and he was posting pages of his diary on a seperate blog to his, I think. His dad ( I think it was a father-son relationship) was a retired engineer, maybe something academic too. Thanks for the lead.

This is kind of crazy but I'm looking for this fascinating blog I found ages ago via HN. It was someone who was posting their father's diary online, as a blog -- he was an engineer and kept a diary, which was full of fascinating minutiae. Does that ring any bells for anyone? No worries if not, I'm finding this blog hook or by crook.
