Who stood to benefit from the sale?
What is the standard tool the industry uses to analyze pictures like this? I see these are JPEG's, that can't be the best format for this type of data, is it?
Interesting product in fman. May I ask what percent of the <20k came from one off sales (18 euros) vs paying for the ongoing updates? Trying to figure out how a license a product of mine. THanks
Well I'm in Miami with 10 years of professional experience after BS in CS and I'm making 130k. So from my perspective no; however, I'm sure some disagree.
I'll go first:
2017: $473
2018: $2500 (on track)
Not a lot I know. Probably more representative to the outcome of most than the outliers we sometimes see here.2014 - same locale or moved to a different cost of living? Congrats, that's a very nice progression.
thanks for sharing this. i thoroughly enjoy reading the progression of salaries over time of others in the tech world. cheers
Wow, that is a skill that should be marketable in itself!
What would be considered surprisingly low? A level 3 software engineer making $100K? Genuinely curious.
I read an average amount as a child and frankly I found books such as "The Count of Monte Cristo", "The Red Badge of Courage", "Great Expectations", etc to be absolutely mind-numbingly boring and would have to force myself to finish them. As a young adult I actually picked up some books I found interesting (i.e. nonfiction) and became a voracious reader. It was like an entire new world had opened up that wasn't constrained by the boundaries of some form of supervision. Admittedly, most of my reading as a youngster came in school and you were either reading fiction, or nonfiction that had to do with the holocaust or WWII. My advice to young people struggling with books is to find a genre that interests you, and dive in.
There was some boss that had a steampunk cannon/gun that he carried around and shot stuff with. Any form of gun does not belong in the Diablo franchise. Hopefully Diablo 2 remastered can give us something to sink our teeth into.
Just an FYI on Taylor Swift, she is not an "aww shucks" country music girl that cut her teeth by playing at malls and smaller venues. Her wealthy father purchase part of a record label which then signed her. The image that is portrayed is propaganda.
I have a suspicion that these people that "flip" houses diy style tend to disturb it without proper care. As a 17 year old I worked manual construction jobs (via craigslist) and even then knew enough to see proper precautions were not being taken. Oh well, they aren't the ones living in the house so I guess it all works out :-/
Perhaps IF will allow you to complete your workout but with no where near optimal performance.
Where is the source for this claim? I've always had a conspiracy theory that this is not true and that the "do not disturb and you'll be fine" theory was put forth to save all the home owners who would otherwise be told their homes are worthless or extremely expensive to properly fix. Even if the suggested reasoning is true, who is there to gurantee that a pervious owner did not improperly disturb the asbestos. My real estate agent toward me in all his years of experience in only one case did another ever admit to knowing of a problem where signing off on the proper lead paint/radon/asbestos warnings.
Do I have anything to worry about in Pune as a female engineer? I read about Pune on the net and it sounds nice, just want to make sure the community (tech and other) are as accepting as SFO. Thanks for the suggestion. Cheers!
Is Pune accepting to women? As a female software engineer it is important I feel included in the community. Seeing as Pune is a top suggestion in this thread I assume so. Thoughts?
Liked the reply but MIT, my alma matter, grades on a 5.0 scale
Was there anything particularly special or intrusive about the virus? I'm struggling to see the significance of the news. Surely viri of this caliber are written and deployed all the time, no?
It really is extremely difficult, I also know.
I've used mitmproxy in the past for debugging purposes but there was always a stipulation that one must install a cert on the machine in order to intercept HTTPS traffic. If intercept.rest can accomplish the same thing without the need to install a cert I could see this being very useful.
Thanks!
This is the same for HTTPS traffic? You can view the content of requests without installing a cert?
Can you explain what this means?
Is there an extreme amount of astro-turfing going on in this thread? I looked at the profiles of 3 of the most fervent supporters of this tool (comments by livin21, shyjal, and g0vz) and the accounts had only 1 other comment among all 3 over the course of years. Is this tool really that amazing that several lurkers have come from the shadows after years of silence to pledge their allegiance? Those were literally the ONLY 3 I looked at as well.
Mind sharing what country? Thanks
Wow 360k is insane. Are you still hands on keyboard or strictly a manager? Mind sharing what industry this is that can afford that salary? Thanks.
