I've been figuring out at what point a tiny AI-augmented team is guaranteed to outperform. The Coase angle helped, which explains that most headcount exists for coordination, not judgment. AI agents don't replace judgment, but they do eliminate the coordination overhead that justified hiring people in the first place. A lot of senior roles might just be expensive pattern matching.

As the author, it's less about marketing and more about scratching my itch as a shy writer to explain some of the things I've experienced and seen. Having spent 12 years as a Royal Marine, and seen behaviours that map into the startup and corporate world, I'm using the time that I now have to write more and share opinions.
