What you get when money meets corporate meets engineers who don't say no.

Hello from Burgas, Bulgaria
Always remember that one guy testifying that he saw employees jumping with their feet on airplane parts to insert them in somewhere. LOL.
there is absolutely nothing wrong with the commie blocks we have in Bulgaria other than the need to fix the facade. They are extremely cheap to mass manufacture, build and also they easily can last 100 years with enough living space for everyone. This already works, it's just not done due to regulations in many countries.
I had an interview with a startup, completely owned the questions on the technical interview. When time came for the 1 - 1 interview with the CTO I had luck to ask them about their growth rate and investors. No regrets.

don't drink and bike, it's dangerous.
bike thefts happen in the Netherland (once I saw a 50+ year old guy walking around inspecting bikes in a student neighbourhood + multiple bike thefts in that area). Also in Bulgaria where I am from :) but I can't say where it happens more or what the chances are.
Same here, but it was fun tho but I certainly feel like I'm no longer on top of the food chain
In the past few days I've been shellshocked by GPT-4. I'm still and believe I will be for the near future.

That's OK, I'm quite frugal, don't mind travelling with public transport. Even if you save 50% of that it's already enough for me.
120k to efficiently exterminate rats? Dang, I'd love to do that lol

Note: I'm currently interested in backend and machine learning (pref. computer vision roles). Please contact me if you are a decision maker within your organisation.
there's something about guaranteed wealth that takes away those feelings of accountability. You can be 100% morally strong, yet 20 years of this BS and your humbleness goes down the drain. Totally human, yet totally wrong to be on top of the food chain for too long.
He just lost his humbleness (if he even ever had it).

What a pain man. Reminds me of setting up the visa for my spouse in Bulgaria (she's from Canada). The amount of mental pain I've experienced with administration should be illegal. This seems much worse and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

I'm looking for an opportunity in computer vision, preferably in recognition of documents or diagrams. I have experience with shape recognition, classification and text extraction and want to build a great product with those technologies. I'm based in EU but will be in North America for the foreseeable future (no work permit tho). I appreciate in person work but remote is doable after some period. Please contact me only if you are a decision maker, I'm not open to recruiters.
Yeah seems like it's all over the place, but certainly doesn't seem like the city is doing its job when there are multiple break-ins in short period of time of 1 property.
Honestly looking into his issues, seems like he's getting dealt some bad cards after investing into a city that is letting him down.
Weird.
I've done this my entire life and it's extremely useful. Identifying useful strategies is extremely important and in no way makes you artificial.
I live in Burgas, Bulgaria and working from the local business incubator has been nice. Rent is 200-250 EUR/ pm & young people generally speak English. Additionally, it is quite a calm place with little to no crime. There are no cons to me at least because during this pandemic I cannot meet other people anyway even if I was in The Netherlands where I lived. Burgas is a cheap destination with a lot of great natural and community sights and experiences to be seen. Highly recommend it.
Good.
Good idea indeed!
Brexit might have some benefits after all. Let the competition begin!
I need more money from projects that I build fast. So I guess I need a project that has a high chance of success with a decent amount of cash that comes with it. Sucks to have a lot of skills and time but not a big/fast to produce project.
What a huge mistake in my opinion if that goes through. Everyone who worked with indian companies should keep an eye on what's going on. Far too much more damage can be done!
not that good of a course, from someone who already did it
