Cloud computers are just someone's else computer. Amazon and Microsoft engineers can make the same mistake too. Take backups and test them regularly and you'll be OK.

Sublime is way faster for opening large files.

This sounds like damned if you do, damned if you don't for OpenAI. If OpenAI doesn't implement these "filters" in results, then people would have been up in arms same way. Facebook and Twitter are already complained about a lot for allowing hate speech similarly.

Yes by law I meant the DMA. You said in your comment that there is a need to differentiate between what Apple can do and what they should do and the author didn't mention specific DMA provisions to make his argument more concrete.

What I mean is that yes Apple is entitled to do whatever they want with their IP. But this entitlement is granted by the EU itself. EU may decide whatever they want and Apple can't really fight much against it. So instead of causing drama, it would be easier to just give up and exit EU.

At this point it is upto EU consumers to provide their opinions on what they want to happen next.

If Apple doesn't like it, they can just take their ball and go home. People will probably do just fine without them. If a huge need is felt for Apple to be back, then the law will change.

Most people want battery life

Maybe for their personal device. But for work provided device, who cares if it is decent enough. Most people just keep them connected to power while working on a desk anyway (in my opinion).

Most people don't want desktops. So powerful laptops are preferred. Macbooks don't support Linux officially. But Intel laptops do support them. So no matter how fast and efficient Macbooks are, people will still buy decent Intel laptops instead of the best Macbooks.

Yes. ES File Explorer is the best. I only resort to these material file explorers when installing any APK as newer Android versions have restricted APK installation from ES File Explorer.

Material UI file explorers have too much wasted screen space and unnecessary slow animations, lack of bottom positioned controls etc. and it makes managing files slow and frustrating.

Though I must say I never organize tabs except pinning them.

It is for the same reason people prefer to sleep or hibernate there PCs instead of shutting them down. You don't want any breaks in your flow. Closing tabs and opening them again from bookmarks is annoying.

I keep tabs like production and development Firebase console, Github, Gmail, Trello, Slack, Google Cloud logs, documents/spreadsheets, Google searches, documentation/articles for features/bugs etc.

It makes my work faster since I everything I need is always available in the tab bar. Feature/bug related tabs are closed only when they are fully done and deployed to Production.

Just pin the tab to keep it at a fixed place. I pin Gmail and Slack as these are frequently accessed by me.

I simply use Gmail drafts. Good enough for taking basic notes on PC as well as my phone.

Stories is in a separate tab. I just ignore it most of the time and never post anything myself.

Accessing businesses on Whatsapp is kinda nice and convenient. I can enter a restaurant's phone number and see their menu easily. I also use Whatsapp to access bank statements which is super fast and easy compared to the bank's own app.

As for the privacy policy, it's like WinRAR. You just close the popup and forget about it. I've been closing the policy popup since months and don't even notice it much.

Github gained actions, sponsors etc. and keeps getting more new features. Whatsapp got E2E chats and group video calls and handles communications for a huge amount of people.

Don't login on social media. Use ublock origin and incognito mode everywhere. Add DNS based Ad Blockers on your every device.

So Twitter hires someone famous for a job. He tries to do the job well. But execs don't let him do it. If anything wrong happens, then he'll be blamed for it. What is he supposed to do while the ticking time bomb explodes which it will? Just sit and wait for their reputation to be tarnished for being bad at their job? Or take some action to pin accountability to the ones responsible?

Firefox let's me keep the tabs on standby. They don't take memory and only load when I click on them. Also I use vertical tabs using Sideberry extension. So it is easy to manage a huge amount of tabs.

That's why I keep hundreds of tabs open. If it is open, I'll read it one day. Otherwise there is no chance.

If you can afford it, then just get the i7. If you get an i5, you'll keep wondering how good the i7 would be. Or decide after seeing benchmarks.
