I've read that Aluminum is used in medicine as a catalyst, in toothpast as an abrasive, its in your dental cement, used as food additives, in your cooking utensils, used in vaccines as an adjuvant, etc. Some say Aluminum is linked to Alzheimer's, types of cancer, and now even autism. Could modern life in the west cause toxic levels of aluminum in our bodies? Sodium-rich water can supposedly detox your body from aluminum, personally I drink water with a very high Sodium content, unfortunaltly some of the brands contain a lot of fluoride - you just can't win :) ...

I see Comdb2 requries SQLite to install. So, I'm guessing Comdb2 is a distributed storage engine for SQLite, or?

I've been kind of negative to VR until I worked on the Microsoft HoloLens for some clients, and now I'm convinced that Mixed Reality(MR) is the way of the future and not VR. Sure, the current HoloLens has some disadvantages like a small field-of-view and a high price tag, but I'm sure that these things will be improved in future editions. Very cool with small code pieces that does a lot. I was a big fan of the Amiga Boot sector intro's back in the 80-90s where the programmers had to make entertaining pieces of digital art where compiled code, music, and graphics all had to fit inside 1 KB boot sector of a 3.5" floppy disks. Remember that from when I was a teen, the first crack took months after the initial release and came on like 20 disks, while the retail game was on 10 disks. Kevin R. Kachikian is the name on the patent, currently he is CTO at Amuse Inc. according to his LinkedIn page - must be a very smart guy.

I actually lauched a WebCite kind of service back called Svonk back in 2009, unfortunately it got VERY little usage - like just a couple of hundred hits a month, and it got no external promotion.
