Honestly, you should charge like $1 for each operation. People will trust it more that way, as you're not incentivized to snoop on their files (or put 500 ads everywhere).

It’s strange to me that their remediation did not include distributing these systems to be redundant across multiple datacenters, maybe with a globally distributed database.

The disaster recovery failover to a second data center (and failback) should not force a choice to failover or not. They should be able to immediately failover and the system should self-heal once the original data center was back online.

This is interesting. If you can deliver on this, I'm guessing you can deliver on a lot more. Figuring out what warrants an alert is a non-trivial problem, and it's in the same problem space as answering other business questions like "what is our true organic traffic".

Also, on metric drops I'm interested not just in the alerts but also in the narrowing down of what is causing the drop. For example, the first question we always ask is "could marketing blend be causing this". I imagine your ML can figure that out. You could also point out where to look, like "iOS 13 is fine, but there is a severe drop in conversion for iOS 12" or "Conversion dropped for app version 13.2 on Android".

Most people don't look at their bank statement often. For those that do, they sometimes overlook things. I think the most common reason for cancelling through Truebill, though, is not wanting to waste time dealing with cancelling the service.

The point is, you shouldn't HAVE to look at your bank statement to find this stuff. We do it for you, and we keep an eye on things for you. If you want to make sure you're not charged again, just set an alert. No need to check your bank statement.. just wait for an email from us.

Good point. For now, you can just add that in the "Reason" and we'll see it. But maybe we should add a "notes" column. We could also have checkboxes for specific services, like Comcast, where we know their different offerings.
