This marketing tactics are wild... made me uninstall the extension.

From the title it seems you are not a fan of Duolingo, which is fair. However the app lessons seem very similar to Duolingo. It even seems you copied "hearts" and "gems" and "streaks" from Duolingo.

Some questions:

"Listen to authentic native pronunciation in every lesson. Learn the correct accent and intonation from day one."

Can you elaborate on what this means? I currently speak Portuguese (Brazilian) and Italian. While the Italian audio seems fine, the Brazilian portuguese audio is not very good. It seems to be using Portugal's portuguese. And it doesn't sound "native". The audio for single words specially is not something I would recommend to anyone learning portuguese.

The landing page also makes these marketing claims but doesn't go further into any of them:

- "Our proven algorithm tracks every word you learn". Do you follow any learning methodology? What has been "proven" about your algorithm? Are their some stats?

- "Engage in dynamic lessons designed by language specialists." Who are you language specialists that have "carefully designed lessons"?

The one thing you have going for you is that I didn't have to give you my email to get started but the landing page doesn't give me any confidence that this app is better than Duolingo or other language apps.

"Roughly 12 to 15 hours of recording. On average, I use it 10-20 times per day to record 3-6 second thoughts. That’s up to 2 years of usage." They really don't seem have tested the battery life, so 2 years is probably the best case scenario here. He says there's no subscription but if you need to buy one every 2 years or less, then that's the subscription. The primary reason given for not having an option to charge is just awful: "You would probably lose the charger before the battery ran out". This is seriously a device for reviewers and youtubers to hype, make a video about it, and then it's gone.

What's unique about this ring that has less features than other "smart" rings?

I think I might have the wrong concept of meal planning. For me, it should be simple meals using fewer ingredients and most importantly reusing ingredients you already have. During the meal creation, I asked to keep it to 1 protein source, but it gave me recipes for 4 different protein types. I cannot possibly be buying salmon, chicken and 2 different cuts of meat each week. The other ingredients follow the same pattern.

Let me know when Brazil + Pix is supported. The feature I have not seen in any of these websites that transfer money between countries is the ability to schedule reoccurring payments. I send money to my family monthly, and it would be nice if I didn't have to do the same exact process each time.

Exposing my search here is probably not the best call, but that's fine since I was trying to break it.

1. You don't have enough safe guards in place for the AI. I could chat with it about any topic.

2. I can get better results from ChatGPT directly

3. There's clearly no privacy

"The trip duration should be 10 days or less." What? Why?

"To plan your trip to Rome, we first need a city in Italy." Eh?

Same for me, and ironically the Upgrade to Premium button doesn't do anything :)

I searched for 1 community, got an error. Reached my "free" limit and was asked to sign up :(

I asked it to explain the offside rule in soccer. It did fine at explaining it with text + voice, and it answered my questions fast. However it wasn't so good at generating images. It failed to generate any images a few times, and when it did, it wasn't a good image (the soccer field lines were all wrong).

When I switched to another language, it was able to understand me but horrible at pronouncing the words on the screen, it was a bit comical.

Anyway, it seems fun.. unfortunately the image generation suffers of common issues you find with many models.

Honest question... how do you look at the outputs posted in the before/after section and think... "this is fine"?

Cabinets doors change in the kitchen, walls changes in the living room, floors change, bed is cut in half.

So you spend all this time researching for a place to buy just to get there and find out the place was actually all AI? I am not going to be living in a virtual space. If you want to sell this as room planning/ideas software, fine, but faking spaces for sale?

The state boundaries, at least for NJ, seems wrong... so the pin is also in the wrong location.

I honestly find it hard to read the news when they are all stacked on top of each other. For instance, how is this useful? (screenshot: https://ibb.co/DDZ0txJ5)

It's hard to click on the items, and the constant zooming in/out is annoying. The linking of the news to other locations is interesting, but it doesn't really provide any new information to the user - what happens when you need to link something across the globe? How many linking locations can you have per article?

I also noticed that some news show up twice (same title / same source / same state).

It would be more interesting to me to see a sidebar with news titles/desc within a radius/city/state and as I click on the news the locations are displayed in the map. But I would still need to leave the website to go read the news, and then have to switch back and forth to get the "geographic context"... at that point as might as well just search google maps.

As a person who loves to research where I am going and what's on the way there.. this could save me a lot of time. It's not 100% accurate, but good enough for researching a trip, or locating places mentioned in an article.

So I entered my email in "request access". You proceed to send me an email with no information on how to get access? But I must and I quote "Reply with 'YES' + your favorite ice-cream flavor within 48 hours to lock your spot" - and this is regards to "VIP Founder's Circle". What's is this? How am I supposed to take you seriously? And yet these email provides zero information on how to actually get access to your application. Why would I want your "VIP Spot" which I apparently "claimed" if I can't even create an account to see what you offer?

This looks really nice, but... you went so far to remove all the annoying things just to add some annoying notifications... you get about 3 of them per video loaded.

Paying a "deposit" first is an interesting approach, but it's not clear what happens if I don't like anything that's generated. Can I get my money back? It's also not clear if $50 = 1 logo download. Because I can't test the tool at all, and because I don't know what happens if I don't like the output it stops me from using it.

Your landing page (unless it's broken) it's sabotaging all of your chances of success.

- White text on a light gray background (contrast issues)

- Text set to align justify (impossible to read)

- One H1 tag with the app description + link (bad semantics)

Content wise:

- Besides the brief description, it has zero info about the app

- You provided more info about the app here than in your landing page

- The links to the app store / ios store are below the fold (I have to scroll to see them)

I use Rocket Money, it's free for me because I have a loan with them but I think I would still pay for it. The reason why I don't use other apps is syncing, if I have to manually sync or upload my data, I am out - it takes too much time. Personal Capital was another app that had pretty good syncing , but I haven't used them since I switched to Rocket.

Your landing page tells me so little about your app features that I am not even interested in trying it out. You have a lot of competition in this space. It's great to hear about my data being protected but that's not good enough if it doesn't have good features compared to the alternatives.

I would argue that this is not a price comparison tool, more of a multi-search tool. When I search for an item I get somewhat similar products which doesn't help me find the best price for what I am looking for, just helps me find similar products. Ebay results is also the reason why I avoid similar tools like Google Shopping because you get so many bad results that's easier just going to eBay.

wow, this looks nice. I will download it this week to give it a go. At a first glance this looks like notion for learning languages.

I have been using Babbel, and while it's nice to have mini lesson to take each day... they offer no option to write out notes, or to look at the grammar and get some context, no extra examples and flashcard system is just awful.
