Silent SMS is an incredibly convoluted and impractical way of trying to figure out someones location.
The whole purpose of mobile networks is to track a devices location (so you can route data to/from it!). Of course its easy to do it if your the operator or someone who has compromised it.
Typically open banking refers to a Banks provisioning of Oauth style APIs that allow users to share banking permissions with third parties. So a third party provider (eg payment company, budgeting app etc) can grab your statement data and trigger payments on your behalf just like you would from your mobile banking app.
ACH & SEPA are payments rails, which facilitate the interbank transfer of money. So for example, the app you have given permissions to make transfers to will request a transfer through the open banking APIs to your bank, then the bank itself will use the payments rails to process the transfer.
An ombudsman is a great route for any telco-related complaints, during my time at least they were flagged with the same (or higher) priority than vip-effecting issues.

Not the OP, but perhaps because they live in a country where the gov blocks lots of useful websites, or they want to see public broadcast material (Eg pbs/bbc) from other countries, or because their ISP sells barely anonymised data to 3rd parts in bulk and on the cheap.
I have also been hunting around for something like this.
The closest Ive found is Terraria, which seems to be very popular and has some of the same resource / crafting mechanics
Indonesia: Huge layoffs from the unicorns correcting their valuations and a large number of earlier stage startups shutting down. Lots of disillusionment from tech workers over whats been happening, many are trying to move to large corporates / banks, many are struggling to find work.
Theres some sectors doing well, some new fundings happening, but overall slow and layoffs continue.
The super-app premise didn't really pan out in SEA as it did in China. Grab & Gojek predominantly serve logistics use cases (ride hailing, deliveries), their payments/wallet features just backup these. Bill payment & general POS payments are being dominated by the banks and E-Comm took the shopping & pay-later.

Kawi ZX25R, small & fun 4cylinder 250cc screamer sold in Asia. Im quite tall, but its still comfy without any mods and I use it daily. The riding position is not that aggressive (cant find it on the site unfortunately).
In saying that - the first time I took it on a long ride out I couldn't sit down for 24 hours afterwards I was in so much pain, but I attribute that to being a stiff old fart. Since then plenty of long rides, perhaps my joints have adapted...

It could be that the figures match your own as not everyone goes to a clinic when they have it - much more likely when its a bad dose. But a huge amount of people get it each year.

At its core a company is a machine that makes money.
Once the machine is up and running, you just have to avoid not breaking it. An org at this stage can be completely dysfunctional as long as the machine keeps running. Also figuring out the "wins" while scaling are much more obvious than while trying to start.
Perhaps a dumb question, but why do we store embeddings as "vectors" and not "points"? I thought the difference was that vectors have magnitude, but an embedding doesn't have a magnitude - they are just points in an n-dimensional space?
An optional paid feature that not many people seem to use isnt a deal breaker really.
I started a business in my 30s. Id be careful about that one..
I push a boiled egg and an egg cup towards the candidate and ask them to eat it like x86 processor.
- If they put the egg in the cup the upside-down, its a fail
- If its right-side up with solid rationale, I know its a senior. Without rationale - I know its a lucky junior.
- If they immediately grab the egg and swallow it without saying a word they are destined for management
- If they take out a cap'n crunch whistle and blow on it while giving me a red card, I have to resign and let them take over the reigns
Not from a FANG background but was in a high paying senior role before taking the plunge to start a startup ~6 years ago. Also sole earner. I made the decision to do it as I genuinely loved the problem space, building things and had enough savings to take a chance on building something big. I also am less risk adverse than average (and perhaps what is sensible).
I think if your goal is financial independence at this stage, founding a startup is a poor strategy. Perhaps lowing your cost of living somehow and looking at traditional investments to bulk up savings would be a better option. To combat the boredom you could look for a high paid job in a more interesting large company. Or, experiment with side projects and see how you go. Obviously your chances of success are lower when you don't go "all-in", but it gives you a taste of entrepreneurship.

If you could reconstruct a persons voice from text in realtime locally on your phone you would only need to transmit compressed text during the call reducing the bitrate a tonne. And those volume issues and difficult to remove voice artefacts would cease to be a problem too (assuming the senders side can still transcribe correctly).
Grady from the youtube channel practical engineering [0] released a book recently called "Engineering in Plain Sight" and I preordered it for my son but end up hogging it myself!
It explains how different infrastructure (electrical grid, roads, trains etc) are built and arranged. A beautiful book, with everything simply explained - chock full of wow/ah-ha moments.
Im based in Indonesia and have built a few tech teams here over the years. Also know of a few dev houses based here with clients internationally, both in Europe & the US.
Can vouch for what the OP says, if you take care of people, pay a decent salary for their region, people will be loyal and quality is very good. You will need to learn a bit about the local region and culture though if your hiring directly.
This is especially true now as the local tech scene is loosing good senior folk through redundancies and forcing people back into the office.

In this context "defence" likely means "defence industry" and not "defending your country" per say.
Lots of people regard working on weapons used to kill other people as unethical. For example, you could be a pacifist [0]. Or from the military standpoint you be concerned about Just War [1] and whether the weapons you build will be used for something you see as Just or not (say in your example selling arms to the wrong side). Theres a bunch of others like this.

One thing thats often underestimated here is the impact a bad feature has over time. Not just when its released and fails, but also support, maintenance, tech debt, additional complexity in the product and the overhead this has on trying to improve things in the future.
