Thanks. It was very inspiring to read your entire text. I will definitely try answering fewer questions more thoroughly & practice being cogent, neat and presentable. I have been playing back my last interview repeatedly on my mind to figure out all places where I might have not come out very presentable to the interviewers. Hopefully these course corrections will get me a new opportunity. I am in total agreement with the 'false negative' comment. Thanks again.
Thank you for your suggestions. Top companies are always looking to see how well potential employees perform under crunch situations. My gut feeling is that they expect to see employees perform calmly even under pressure. They would like to see employee solve problems logically, quickly and deliver the solution in a more coherent manner. I would expect the same if I am at the other end of the table. I would like to be able to be that kind of a performer.
I have decided to stop preparation at the least 1-2 days before the interview. However, I have attended only 2 interviews & I cannot say for sure that this did not help. Probably, I might do better in my next interview. Will have to just wait and watch.

What you say is very true. I guess the whole idea of this course was to equip students with the necessary Math skills to comprehend courses like Algorithms and data structures especially the CLRS's 'Introduction to Algorithms' book. At the least these notes helped me comprehend that book ;-)
Nope there are no videos but the notes are simple to understand since they are very clearly explained.

It is a fun app. It mostly said I write like Issac Assimov except when I gave it a bunch of python code it said I write like Edgar Allen Poe. I guess this is a clear signal that I should drastically improve my Python programming skills.

I am going through Cormen et al. with the objective of getting my feet wet but the whole process is painfully slow. I thought it would be nice to have at least some familiarity on the widely used algorithms across the globe. However, you are right on ditching programming languages with huge boot times. I am happily trying out my algorithms in Python.
Interesting. I am open if you are considering collaboration which will give one additional man month to finish the project. I am familiar with C, C++ and Python.
