What was Elon Musk’s strategy for Twitter?

I want to use TikTok as it exists today. Why should that right be taken away from me by the US government? This is going to have major political backlash from the millions of people happy with TikTok if they manage to pass it.

I don’t believe there was any sexual assault. There’s precedent for this type of armed resistance. The Haitian Slave Revolt and the Pueblo Revolt are both very similar. I think Oct 7th was justified, I don’t want to litigate it here though. This will be my last comment, I just want to state what a lot of people are thinking so it’s not misrepresented. I know many people here won’t agree.

What were the images of? Why doesn't the Guardian describe them instead of just putting in a bunch of weasel words.

the Guardian itself is regularly accused of having anti-Israel bias

That's definitely not been the case since Oct 7th. They've been extremely pro-Israel, just like all of the MSM.

I don't believe that might makes right and just because Israel is armed and backed by the West does not give them impunity to steal land. 1948 was not hundreds of years ago, there are people who are still alive who were ethnically cleansed from their land and forced into Gaza. Palestinians have a much stronger right of return than anyone who wasn't living in Palestine prior to 1948.

The damage to Israel is immense. I actually don't think it's going to survive as a state. They've lost the support of the world, there's no end in sight to the violence that will happen both in Israel and around its borders and there's massive civil unrest for multiple reasons including that they can't afford to pay for the war and their religious entitlement programs, yet they're funding them anyway.

It is both a moral and a business mistake to invest in Israel. Intel, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Google... not only are these brands taking a hit for their association with Israel, they now have a large presence in a place that will face continuous violence for the foreseeable future. I think the moral of the story from a business perspective is to never work with an apartheid state.

I wouldn't invest in Israeli companies. Between boycotts, political instability and general moral guidelines it seems like a really bad idea if you want a return or to do the right thing. I hope and imagine we will see Intel, NVIDIA, Microsoft, Google... divest their Israeli assets over time as the state becomes more of a pariah.

This website is focused on the ongoing genocide of Palestinians which has major support from US and European venture capitalists.

You can clearly see from the tweets that it was Tan that started tweeting anti-Palestinian tweets.

Paul Graham has been very mildly pro-Palestinian and the VC community at large has been trying to "cancel" him because of it. Garry Tan is part of that community and is presumably trying to signal that he's pro-Zionist and not in line with PG (despite most of the world being in line with PG).
