We switched to Agile Flights (https://agile.flights) for exactly this reason.

The work moves - the ceremony doesn't follow it. Focused on shipping.

Works both in extremely high phase with AI, and for teams without it.

Ran into the same wall - ceremony eating the actual work. The Flight methodology cuts through it: a landing date, a single captain, no story points, no mandatory standups.

By the message they leave in the email and on the site, it does not look that way. I doubt it. I am a backer as well.

Their giftcard system does not even work mostly, completely broken (by code, bugs). Tried purchasing a e-giftcard with a custom photo for weeks. Contacted support and no response for over 3 weeks.

Finally made a purchase of a normal giftcard in Safari. Think it was just pure luck, had to go back and forth the contact details page several times to be able to check out.

Seems like Ticketmaster simply does not want our stash? :)

You really caught me. This is something I could pay for after trying out for a while. Do yourself a favour for christmas and investigate if there is any other way than smashing just recently onboarded users with an ad to raise the awareness of the fact that this is not free.

But about the pricing; consider this: * You'd probably earn hellofalot more with individual pricing? I mean, I pay per sent SMS/Email/Whatever on other services. It's the usage that will cost you money in terms of data-transfers?

If I'd use your service with a newsletter of 100 000 subscribers, let's say 10% would answer my very quick survey, you'd have to host these 10 000 users throughout the survey with $26 in your pocket.

It might be sustainable in the long run if you have enough users that does not utilize the service that much - but with a couple of enterprise users you might be out of luck(?)...

I'd still consider thinking twice about your price-structure, you might want to charge 24/month, including X answers or something?

I'd certainly be willing to pay a fixed price per month (Maybe lower) and then $0.xx per answer to my survey?

Seems like there is no limitation in height, but in width. Try stretching your browser outside your screen for 80px. :-)

Agree with the above, why not have a customisable CSS sheet later? This is what we're doing at our startup, and it empowers developers to create some awesome stuff!

ADDITION TO ARTICLE: If you in your history have SMS messages from what now is classified as an "untrusted source", as soon as you click on them they will disappear!

I have tested it myself, and several big services in Sweden seems affected.

SJ (Swedish Trailway's) are affected amongst others.

Should have tried that myself - but was to scared it would destroy my db. :-)

WARNING: Careful with upgrading. My app does not start at all anymore, crash report is crashing even if I try to send or do not try to send it.

Things initially crashed when converting my DB, I am not sure yet if that is recoverable. Fortunately I had a iOS backup - hope that helps.

Anyway - I suggest backing up before upgrade, and wait for a 2.0.1! :-)

So you would implement like a virtual smart-card in the Client application end that then communicates with the API in our end and authenticates?

I also think this might be a bit overkill - maybe something for real enterprise apps... :-)

That sounds interesting, how would you implement that on an API level in a good way? I mean, the clients applications will most probably do automatic transactions all the time.

Are you thinking something like time-based sessions, which you have to authenticate on both ends - with a PK?

I would love more insights though - from real implementations! :)

I was aiming more for app <-> app authentications more than app <-> user authentication, but in your case I would definitely use at least a salt for your sha1 hashed passwords.
