I'll remain a part of HIBP. I fully intend to be part of the acquisition, that is some company gets me along with the project. HIBP's brand is intrinsically tied to mine and at present, it needs me to go along with it.
He's made it pretty clear in the blog post that he intends to stay on and has acknowledged that his reputation plays an important part in making HIBP what it is.

It still gives the same warning if you remove the phone number while TOTP is enabled. But I was able to remove and then set up TOTP based 2FA without a phone number.
I should add that removing the phone number didn't actually delete the number from my profile (who could have known?). You have to go into the Mobile tab and remove the phone number again.
All this despite me reluctantly adding my phone number just for 2FA. Dark patterns throughout the website.
Sure and while you're at it why not implement cameras all over every roadway to automatically ticket you every time you break the speed limit.
This actually exists in many cities around the world like Dubai. Probably not every roadway, but almost all major ones.

I can relate to this. Music only serves as a distraction and prevents me from getting actual work done.
I also only tend to listen to music occasionally, when I 'feel' like it.
Well, companies also prefer higher margins to lower margin i.e. if they can get away with paying lesser compensation, then that's exactly what they will do.

You're right, I was completely unaware of that. I read these 'rumours' on other forums as well, but I didn't bother to verify them.
ITA's Matrix[1] shows the actual price, but rumours are that Google will shut them down in the near future in favour of Google Flights following their shutdown of the QPX Express API[2]
The author elaborates a bit more on how management unsuccessfully tried to reach out to Rick, resulting in their departure before Rick's in response to a comment[1]. This post is obviously just one side of the story, so take it with a grain of salt I guess.

Mattermost[1] is an existing open-source[2] Slack alternative.
The extension is no longer being actively worked on [1]. It works on some websites for now, but will probably be circumvented in the future.

Yes, I do. As a university student, it's really useful to be able to view different course webpages, schedules, important dates, etc - all links that I would access frequently (almost every day)
Apart from that, I also use browser bookmarks for links I want to (or have to) view in the near future. It acts as a constant reminder since it's always visually present.
I use Pocket for articles/links I can afford to view during my free time.
Richard Hammond's Engineering Connections on F1 [1] is a great watch for some of the technical details.
It is however a bit dated; there have been changes to the rules and the cars themselves since the video was made. The Reddit guide [2] to F1 is more up to date.
