I also always think this way. I Summarize it as be a doer not a complainer

Shameless plug, I've been trying to write interesting articles in my blog. Some of them made it to the frontpage of HN lately and I've gotten loads of nice comments:

Amazing!! The idea to generate an API when compiling is very good.
The only thing that is holding me back is that as far as I understand Prisma doesn't support cascading deletes.
Meaning that if I have to delete a user, then I have to manually delete all his projects, comments, posts, etc... which is not nice.
I also had to implement something similar to this and wrote about it: https://www.mikealche.com/software-development/how-to-implem...

This is honestly amazing
I don't understand something. If you replay the events on an iframe of the real URL, each time I play the video you are hitting the site's real API? Like, if I watch the video where the user adds an item to it's cart, will the same item get added twice because I watched the video?
Absolutely this
Since there seems to be some stripe employees here, is it true you've already set a foot in Argentina?

This part impacted me a lot really, almost teared up. This is a truly important part of how SQLite works
what's the function that returns from the pandas dataframe the foul that the german goalkeeper made to Higuain?
Jokes aside, pretty good article. I am an Argentinean, so consider that a lot.
I'll check it out! I didn't try further because the manual tests I was doing seemed sufficient enough. But I love this kind of theory!
Thank you very much!! I rewrote the article a couple of times
No, it isn't. What is interpolated in the string comes from an object containing predefined set of strings. I don't allow the user to type anything they want. I didn't want to clutter the tutorial
OP here, this is amazing, i love it!
Oh! I can't change it now! :( Is there any way a mod can change it?
Hey HN! I've built this starting from wanting an alternative to product hunt ship. But it has a bit more features like the possibility to create custom forms and even more than one per page. You can also include markdown on the pages. This is useful for coding blogs, since it also supports sintax highlighting.
It has been built using Nextjs and Adonisjs
Hope you like it!
No SHOW HN is complete without the comment with unconstructive criticism. You can feel officialy launched OP! In my opinion the project is nice and good on you for launching it!
Exactly what I meant, the fields CAN contain whitespace. The first_name, last_name is one that I find useful
I'd store the middle name in the first_name column. Like for example "Juan Martin" would be in the first_name columns and "Del Potro" in the last_name. Apart from the middle/first name incongruence that you may highlight, I believe that this design is not awfully bad and should serve in most situations.
Hey thanks for clarifying it for the other user! I also agree with everything that you're saying, in this and other comments in the thread
