It doesn't get any faster due its design. At least join one of the open source projects and help that.

In the other hand am tired of NSA posts and posts against Google... it has become a cliche. Yes I want to learn if NSA is spying on me etc etc but not every time there is a post about it I'd like it to be 1st thing I see.

You can't really blame a kid at that age... Kids at that age have no sense of fear or can't recognize what is punishable or not. Everything is a game, especially years back as that internet was not so evolved and the laws around it weren't so strict.

Its Valve's fault for letting a 16 y/o install malwares on their computers... When you are developing something you got to be serious about its security as well if you want it to remain a secret. It feels to me like their employees and IT department had no actual sense of what security was (Employees going off installing whatever on their computer, and IT team not being able to track down malware and outgoing packets to unknown sources...)

I also don't see how vivint makes the same products as nest or even making em a competitor... Nest is something that is coming from the future and I can assure you that vivint is not even close in that.

I don't get why you have to argue with a company on the way it does its recruiting. They feel that's the best for them and they have the right to.

Yes I believe that a person that studies English could become an Engineer. But being an Engineer requires experience and time. It's not like you'll pick it up in a day. On the other hand a person that studies CS or Engineering has learnt the basics and its easier for him to become one.

The way google is recruiting feels the right way for them (and for me) since they don't want to take in someone that has no idea and start teaching him on that.

Also if someone wants to work for a Tech Company like google I don't see why he will go study English... if English is what he likes best then why would he pursue working under a tech company.

I think you are trying to apply the logic that all the banks have that they'll hire whoever if he passes their tests. But they will train him into investments and guide them through. And also that person like everyone working on finance will have to undergo exams every-year to prove himself. (That's pretty much like studying finance if even more advanced).

Vegetarian is a way of life. Whether its healthy or not I can't judge and I'll leave that to the scientists that are doing research on that specific matter.

Although speaking from my own experience... I ain't a vegan I eat meat, and a lot of it cause I gym. I keep a healthy and balanced diet for a long time now. I am healthy and that's what doctors have been telling me on my annual check up. In the other hand I got a cousin that we are close with and he is a vegan. Although he is a vegan he drinks alcohol, not excessively but occasionally. He is unhealthy and unstable at the moment...

Life is not only about food but there are a lot of factors in there that needs to be considered.

Also regarding mental health... WALKING I found is the best solution.

I grew up in an Island in Greece, far away from polution and no way near fast food. I was eating things coming straight from the nature. Even when I needed meat it would be slaughtered the same day...

I moved to a big city. I can see how my fitness has changed a bit with the heavier breathing and the different hours plus the way that the eye cannot see beyond a certain block. Although I haven't adopted fast food life I can say that the things I prementioned have changed my fitness and peace of mind as well.

I wouldn't like my kids to grow up here.

That also started in Greece after they announced the austerity measures. (2008) It's still an ongoing thing, and there is an organisation called (WeDon'tPay) that does that stuff, they'll gather and they will not let people pay any fare. This happens also in Tolls, that have been abused by contractors and the goverment and 60 years after the complitation of the road they still have tolls.

yes but there are some weird regulations with the FSA in the UK that doesn't allow you to use amazon... Our lawyers chose our providers, we can't rly do anything about that.

You said you are EU citizens. It's ok for you moving around EU but moving to the US is going to create immigration problems for you.

One of you will need to get sponsored for a long-term working visa not the temporary one. Then still I think according to US laws your Wife won't be able to work until you get a Green Card. I heard that they are trying to change that law but still.

Sorry to break it down to you like that, you can still try and make it, but its not an easy thing to move to the States especially having a family with you.

I'd suggest you apply to 20 companies+ and try schedule them all within a week. So you and your family can go there for a week do your interviews and see if you can get someone to sponsor you.

It's not like you said I am just going to move there... If you say that to the officers in the airport asking you the reason for your visit they are definitely not going to let you in.
