there is a difference between discouraging bad decisions and encouraging good ones. this resolution falls into the former which is a collective punishment more than anything else since the health of those affected isn't the driving factor here. a better solution would be if healthy items like produce were given incentive to be purchased over these, like exclusive discounting or something similar.

one of my favorite films by him. the candid nature of this in comparison to his other work along with the editing style always stood put. you get a much more personal look into Orson's mind as you watch him cut from the editing room narration to a party he's laughing and joking at, seemingly for no other reason than him having fun while realizing he's seeing small details slip that the subjects would normally not share

i took it less as OP idolizing and more as a way to question the expertise of those in question. more often than not people who frequent this site are full of themselves due to being in these fields and living among those who are not, so referring to someone like that as intelligent while proving them wrong is necessary world view shattering statement

moonwalking with Einstein is about a man who decides to get into memory competitions upon learning it's more skill based than he realized. this in turn helped me develop more confidence in my own abilities with day to day routine and not be afraid to try new things i never considered myself naturally good at

Funny i just had the thought the other day about how we as a society need to move past the pdf format or even just update it to be editable in traditional document software. The fact that Google docs will export as a pdf and not have it saved in the documents is proof its gotten to a point of inefficiency and that's just one example

You are not perfect though. There will always be factors overlooked and simply acknowledging that before it becomes a problem is something most management has failed to grasp which is what motivates this sentiment. I can bet now often than not on this thread alone now people have felt the negative effects of every action being quantified for the sake of 'profitability' by someone who lacks a firm grasp on the field being measured, which leads to high performing employees being let go.

'After 1916, there is no record of him and his fate is unknown, but he was drafted into World War I as a military horse and "killed in action in 1916 or was consumed by hungry soldiers"'

I feel like regardless of confirmation behind how high the intellect of the horse was, this is no way him to go out. Hans truly loved him. This may sound dramatic but it feels like if my pet cat were to get killed in war and possibly eaten after i died
