Yeah, the guilty feeling sucks, I also had a devops job where I worked 2-3 hours a day. I finally found a more demanding job that required 4-6 hours of work per day. Being remote also helped instead of trying to keep up appearances in the office.

I found it useful to match dev OS with prod OS... for example, if prod is running Debian-based distro, write code in Debian-based distro. Also encountered a lot of horror stories upgrading macOS to Catalina... that is lost productivity.
As someone who experimented with numerous drugs in college, I always remember being buzzed or drunk when the second drug was introduced. Alcohol lowers inhibitions and puts one in a "party" mode. It's also everywhere, making it easy to consume more than one drink. Plus it's fun to "stack" with other drugs like stimulants, making intoxication more dangerous. Alcohol is THE gateway drug.

The memes of Zuckerberg as Data from Star Trek always amuse me.[0] Sure, it's teasing, but Data is a likable character! Data doesn't strive to be superior but to be more human, even if this means being analytical instead of emotional.
Mark Zuckerberg would be far more interesting if he were "evil"--if he tried to create new values, if he tried to replace God. But he isn't even an atheist anymore and is embracing religion and Judaism[1].
And then of course we must separate the man from the corporation: Facebook is a public company has an obligation to its shareholders to make money. Facebook stopped being about Zuckerberg a long time ago... it is now about surveillance capitalism.

I have a personal gmail and a work gmail (G Suite), each using my full name, but both run in separate browsers using the same IP address. I always wonder if Google keeps a "master record" of people and all their associations, if not for security or to work with law enforcement.

The market has been overvalued and manipulated for years. Even Apple took out billions in loans for stock buybacks.[0] Boeing took out $43 billion in loans for stock buybacks[1] instead of investing in planes, QA and employees. Everyone knew this was a stock bubble caused by record low interest rates. COVID-19 is the pin that woke everyone up.

WeWork/Uber/Airbnb... it's interesting how WeWork is classified as tech IPO next to these (e.g. Softbank used its "technology fund" to invest in WeWork). How did this happen? Isn't it an obvious real estate company? Is it because WeWork appealed to tech startups and remote workers?
The priority depends on your usage of vertical space vs horizontal space. Ultrawide is great for spreadsheets, music/video/timeline editing, etc. For coding, ultrawide is nice for splitting your IDE into 3-4 sections, however there is more vertical scrolling vs 4K.
