I’m having this idea —

Amazon should allow only bad reviews or reviews that speak negative points about a product. In addition to that amazon should show only the number of purchases made.

Fake (paid) reviewers usually write good about the product to support sales

As a user after reading the description of the product i would be interested to know where the product fails.

With this model, fake reviewers will have to write fake bad reviews on other rival products which is expensive to do and easier to spot them based on patterns.

LinkedIn would be investing in other parts of the business which would result in some job creation and the firm would "work with employees impacted by today's announcement to explore these opportunities"

Good to know that they will first consider rehiring/interviewing the laid off employees and they are public about it.

Curious question: does the employee get to keep the severance package if rehired after being laid off?

‘poor UI design, accidental inputs’

I use webpages for most of the social networking platforms such as Facebook. I am left handed and scroll with my left thumb (left half of the screen). I have accidentally ‘liked’ people’s posts, sent accidental friend requests only because of this reason.

Guessing along with language selection, it might be helpful to have a selection of hand preference for mobile browsing.

Speaking about the product -- doesn't the weight of the boots make the body unbalanced? I mean, weight of hands is an important factor while running. So, my guess is that adding wrist weights might make running with these boots on less uncomfortable.

Why can't US government give an official statement to all its employees guaranteeing future payment of the work done during shutdown? And banks should be able to give personal loan over that statement. Interest paid over that loan can be reimbursed by the govt once shutdown is over.

(I am not an economist; It is just my opinion)

1. Be Healthy

Regularly get your vitamin levels checked and make sure to get adequate Vitamin D3

Regularly get your hormone levels checked for any imbalance.

Exercise, breathe, sleep well, and eat healthy.

Slightly off-topic but I'd like to mention -- I have never been happy by their decision of getting rid of the Headphone jack (and other ports).

Laptop is meant to be a portable device and it needs to be self-sufficient. But in case of the new MacBooks you have to keep adapters handy at all times. Using bluetooth for audio draws more battery than wired ones, though negligible, but still matters over long runs. Also, you have to make sure your bluetooth earphones/speakers are charged as well.

EDIT - Disregard my comment. I had Apple iPhone in mind while writing for MacBook. Guess I was misplaced in space and time.

I live in a tiny apartment that probably only circulates the air within the apartment itself. The system sucks air from one spot and throws it out from the vents at all places.

To force fresh air to come inside I keep the door of my room open and open the window by 3 inches. Turn on the HVAC. Thus all the air from my room is sucked and because of the pressure difference fresh air gushes in. This works for me pretty well.

Maybe I'm not aware or not done my homework. But I wonder if there's a service that allows our phone number to be wrapped by another number. That way we can give our original number to only trusted parties/family and the wrapper number to outside world. In which case if we receive too many spam calls, we can simply change the wrapper number.

'Under the previous statute, the higher-earning spouse could deduct alimony payments on his or her tax filings. The recipient included the payments as part of his or her taxable gross income. For divorces finalized in 2019 and after, alimony payments will no longer be a deductible expense for the payer, which is expected to have financial ramifications.

Typically, in a divorce where children are involved – Jeff and MacKenzie Bezos have four children between the ages of 13 and 18 – the payer would also split support payments between alimony and child support, putting more into the former to claim the tax credit. Now, there is more incentive to allocate more money toward child support and less toward alimony.'

The sound is one of the most noticeable characteristics of Harleys. If the floor of your car of your starts vibrating on a red light it's a good chance there's a Harley next to you.

I don't own a Harley, but I'm sure Harley owners are proud of the sound as it is an integral part of the ride and makes the bike more powerful (psychologically).

That being said, IMO, an electric Harley will end up being just another utility motorcycle with of course 100% torque at any point of time.
