Great product, much awaited! Feature request: Maybe consider adding terraform scripts or such for easier self hosting?

Congrats on the launch! Curious, how do you plan to acquire customers? Wouldn't hospital systems want to keep the treatment within their system or partner hospitals?
Hi Peter, I am on STEM extension part of my OPT.
Can I start a company and fundraise on my current visa?
If not, can I be a founder and work as a CTO under an American CEO since technically that is still a supervised job?
4:00 is hilarious!
I found one measure: Hits of Code
It measures the "the amount of times programmers touch the lines". Source : https://www.yegor256.com/2014/11/14/hits-of-code.html
I think you mean 'forward-deployed' engineer.
Not sure. The attached readings and class notes are great resources though.
As there are more than an average number of stupidities there.
Please post more meaningful comments. Sure it doesn't have static typing or performance of C, but it has a stable framework in every conceivable application (Web Dev, machine learning, CLI, you name it) and works as a top notch scripting language. This is not "stupidity", it was by design to make it batteries included and easy to use with a tradeoff with the above things.
I am pretty sold on the idea that failure of ambition = good, failure of sloth = bad. This post seems to be in line with that.
This may be an opinionated article, but the facts it cites are real and credible. I wonder why its flagged?
As an F1 visa holder, can I host a commercial app on internet if it includes not actively working on it?
Just after acquisition, Linkedin started systematically shutting down available API resources, and removing CRM support. Microsoft reigns in eventually. source:https://www.fullcontact.com/blog/linkedin-state-of-crm-2014/
redacted: i mistook the acquisition date
One of the core advantages I see here is trust. It would be so much more effective to match with someone who is connected to you by shared people/interest, rather than just a photo card.
Tell me a better standardized question set for programmers that measures intelligence efficiently.
I think its more of aptitude test in a domain common to all programmers.
Just to be clear, this was a response to the comment.
I do not have any opinion on Barbara Bush in particular other than knowing that she has a lifetime of experience in top American political circles and has been widely respected for that.
Perhaps the most influential woman (literally) in American history
That's a little far fetched.
Just so you know, 1.recommender systems != collaborative filtering. 2.RBMs are good only for certain situations like explicit ratings (where users provide direct feedback), its a really hard problem in implicit recommendations (which are most sites). See Bayesian Personalised Ranking Algorithm. 3. >I'd argue that the logistics of shipping perishable food is significantly more difficult than streaming an audio file. Thats exactly the point. I am not measuring hardness. But that looks a supply chain problem that a software engineering problem.
One of the issues that nobody seems to address is when entire societies shift to cashless, there are network operators who are still milking their first mover advantages. A product that is worth x, is now priced at 1.01x to pay for transaction networks. Europe is definitely ahead than US, but there needs to be better regulations around this.
Spotify is a tech company by all measures. Their core value propositions - recommendation engine, UI/UX, scaling responsive applications - those are pretty 'tech' problems.
Thats fair, but accessing free music is a lot easier than free tv. If they can get people to pay anything for music, thats at least better than zero for labels.
From Page:
A working, full-scale quantum computer running the process known as “Shor’s algorithm” would be able to break RSA or ECC of any practical size in negligible time. In contrast, NTRU’s security is reduced only slightly by quantum computers.
Its much easier to keep up with good contributors in that area. Example, to keep up with great code releases, simply follow top open source contributors on github to get notified whenever they star a repo.
Apple.com before any product launch is probably the gold standard here.
This seems like misplaced blame honestly.
They had valued themselves at <10bn. That has doubled in 24 hours, thats definitely not positive, if not an ipo strategy
Currently the biggest drag on their expenditure is drivers. Their golden bullet is making an efficient transition to self-driving, all while maintaining a leading position
The answer is simple game theory. For a situation where corporations are forced to fix conditions, there has to be a significant large scale reduction in supply, which is an implementation nightmare. Unless that happens, one person quitting a job in protest is just an opportunity for another.
How do you account for content unavailability when a node shuts down/ runs slow?
It's a tough balance between too much ideological influence by big organizations and distortion of reality by crowdsourcing facts
