100% this. We have an L-shaped sofa from them that has lasted through 4 different apartments. One side of the L is longer, and we can easily change the orientation to fit the aspect of the apartment living room.

I use profile triggers to change the color scheme of the shell when I SSH to a production server. The color I chose is different from my regular scheme so that it reminds me I am in production and things can break if I'm not careful.

Not OP, but I finish every shower with 2-3 minutes of as cold as the faucet will go. I've been doing this every day for about a year. In the winter my water temp is in the mid-40 degrees F. I love this habit. It's always difficult, but I always feel great after doing it.

Add focused breathing.

5 minutes of box breathing (4 seconds inhale, 4 hold, 4 exhale, 4 hold) has been very helpful at calming my mind and feeling more ready to fall asleep.

Since you liked Rush, you should check out the documentary Senna about the great F1 racer Ayrton Senna (widely considered the best F1 driver ever).

How do you go about finding a trained guide? This is the part that has always confused me. In Michael Pollan's interviews on the subject he basically says he was lucky to have money and connections, and otherwise avoids answering that topic.

Does anyone use this with their spouse / significant other? Seems like a great tool to have shared docs, lists, todos, etc. I'm thinking things like house and car maintenance, financial planning, shopping lists, and all the other things that I normally keep in a combination of Google Docs and Apple Notes.

Then I saw how smooth the terrain was at least where the photo was taken.

If you look through Colin's earlier instagram posts [1] you'll see that the terrain was not smooth for much of his journey. The terrain is covered in sastrugi [2] and this year was marked with unexpected higher temperatures and snowfall which made the skiing very slow for Colin and all the other explorers out there. Explorers Web has a good collection of blog posts about the various expeditions that are happening this season [3].

I've had success taking a combination of vitamins D3 and K2 in liquid dropper form. I noticed the benefits more than when I was just taking capsules of D3.

Interestingly, I've managed to avoid getting a seasonal cold this year unlike most of my coworkers and friends, and my guess is that the D3/K2 has helped with that because I haven't changed much else.
