All these articles about this, but I've never seen anyone mention whether or not a pardon has been requested.. which is arguably the most important thing in determining whether or not a pardon will be granted.
I went from a note 3 to an s7. Like you I never really utilized the stylus, and even though I had 3 extra batteries for my note, I'm still mostly ok with the tradeoff.
The size of the phones is nearly identical.
As you mention, the only thing that I dislike is not having a hardware menu key.. but it's worth looking into as a decent replacement phone.

In this particular case you're comparing apples to oranges.
Shotguns are very different from a standard .38
First is the obvious difference in projectiles, which can make a huge difference.
Second the .38 (in all likelihood) was a pistol, whereas a shotgun is the length of a rifle. A pistol you can hold it to the side of your head and pull the trigger.. you can't really do this well with a shotgun, which means you're more than likely going to put the gun under your chin and try to get to your brain the long way.
It's somewhat logical that someone might need to shoot themselves twice with a shotgun, not so much with a .38.

While this makes perfect sense and works great in the rest of the world, ID numbers in the US have been talked about, but have faced resistance from two groups.. those that think that this is somehow an invasion of privacy, and those that think that this somehow correlates with the 'mark of the beast' and signals the end of humanity according to the bible. You're definitely an outlier though, and no one is saying that it's not possible, it's just that the interface of a tablet (or lack thereof) presents an un-necessary hurdle that needs to be overcome.

Only at the end of the article, someone else other than the author is quoted as saying that negative health outcomes can't be blamed on just your gut biome, but poor lifestyle choices as well.
Somehow this guy took this one statement, which is wholly correct and only points out the obvious, and turned it around to interpret the entire article as fat-shaming, and somehow misses the article's main purpose which is the lack of diversity in current data comparisons in this area of research.

The author says exactly what you're saying. They're pointing out that it's not so much what you're putting into your body as what you're comparing it to, and right now we're not comparing it to large enough or a diverse enough samples of the population.
I'm not sure about twitter, but for Facebook fake likes actually hurt you because they use algorithms to figure out what to display and to who. The more fake likes you have, the less likely people who actually liked your page are to have your post show up in their feeds.
Actually they are meant to be depicted as small for a reason, or at least this is what I was taught by multiple university professors.
The reason a depiction of a smaller penis was preferred is that it was a sign of fertility. Men with smaller penises were seen as genetically more likely to be able to impregnate a woman, and thus was a desired trait at the time.

While I tend to lean more to your side of the argument, the devil's advocate in me has to point out the fact that you leave out the massive costs of research, development, clinical trials / fda approval, etc. that go in to getting a drug to market.
This not to mention all the extra capital needed to fund research into all of the drugs that never make it to market before a company finds something that works.
This is largely a regional/cultural thing..
In Europe people tend to care more about these things because they're interested in creating a good healthy workplace. If you only wrote about your professional achievements, it would be a sign that your lack of a personality could cause problems within the workplace.
Everyone is different and there is no one-size-fits-all thing here that works for every country / job opportunity.
Governments 'failing' in this scenario seems to be referring to not acting quickly enough.
If you're going to strip governments of power for this, there would be no more governments left in the world.

The only problem with reducing the lifetime at the moment is that all of the solutions to use this for windows are ... lacking.
Without using the various hacks people have created, you can generate the certificates on linux and then move them over to windows, but doing this all the time is extremely inconvenient.
I hope that this gets addressed at some point, because encryption is important for everyone, not just linux admins.

His party and also their coalition party are trying to keep the parliament together because if it gets dissolved then it's likely the pirate party will win in an election, so they're trying to avoid that.
Sort of. He signed his 50% share over to his wife the day before that law went into effect, so 'technically' he didn't violate it.
Luckily the public doesn't care much for these sort of technicalities as everyone can see the obvious conflict of interest that was trying to be hidden.
Well, the stock was owned before the banks collapsed, so no matter what it's a loss. The only "benefit" you could get is trying to get back as much of your investment as you can.. in which case this begs the question, would these holdings have influenced decisions in things like deciding whether the failed banks should repay the debt owed to the UK / Netherlands, etc.
Technically he hasn't been publicly accused of doing anything illegal.
Someone would have to make the case that his holdings in this offshore company actually did influence the decisions made regarding the banks during the crisis, and nobody is doing that just yet.
He held a company with his wife that owned stock in the collapsed banks (making him a creditor to the banks). He then essentialy gave his wife his share of the company so he could hide this from the public and not report it, and was then put in a position of power where this holding becomes a conflict of interest because he is in a position to determine how much these creditors (he and his wife) would get paid for their stock.
Yes, he was trying to retaliate against his own party for not supporting him. The president wasn't ready to approve the request without at least first talking to the leader of the other coalition party to see if they were in agreement.

I'm pretty sure what happened is that he wanted the approval to dissolve the parliament, and then would then wave this authorization in the face of the other coalition party as a way to blackmail them for support.
I think this guy gets it wrong, and this has nothing to do with being 'smart', but rather sitting somewhere along the aspergers/autism spectrum.
The one interesting takeaway for me was this:
