Interested to understand what would be the terms of the deal if Superhuman was valued at $825mm and what the founders cleared if the all the VCs rounds had 2-3x liquidation preferences.

If you read the conclusion the authors point this out and address it. They argue against reaching a causal conclusion but given the magnitude of difference ask for more study.

Your approach argues for outright dismissal without any analysis or alignment with other factors.

There is a whole lot of anthropomorphisation going on here. The LLM is not thinking it should cheat and then going on to cheat! How much of this is just BFS and it deploying past strategies it has seen vs. actually a \em {premediated} act of cheating?

Some might argue that BFS is how humans operate and AI luminaries like Herb Simon argued that Chess playing machines like Deep Thought and Deep Blue were "intelligent".

Insanity that some of these institutions cannot figure out their data. We are talking tabular data in the tens of millions to hundreds of millions annually.

All the data generated by these institutions in a year is dwarfed by what Google or Meta takes in a day. A colossal failure of institutional capacity. Banking is a purely information processing business around tabluar structured data most of whose structure dates back decades.

Yep, the performance of the Apple watch is nothing but stunning especially given their medical grade ECGfeature. The (lack) progress of the others is disappointed.

The Oura3 numbers are pretty impressive and at 3-5 days of battery life gives it an edge over the Apple Watch. I prefer ambient devices that lack screens so it is pretty good in that sense too.

The visualization is beautiful but it leaves two things to help really get a scale for if storms are really increasing (in frequency and severity):

- leaves out many storms especially in the third world

- does not divide by the totally insured property base which should be going over time.

This is an excessively harsh take on someone whose work has benefitted millions of motivated learners especially in the developing world.
