Ye sure. Remember Myspace and Altavista?

"We didn't see it coming" is a famous phrase :D.

Maybe not a tech competitor but gradually when people start to realise the privacy violations and wake up from the bubble, new generations etc will break FB hegemony.

In physical work you have a natural outlet for that stress. Confining everything to your upper body, and even one part of it (the head) is gonna cause even more stress.

Is this good for professional work, Illustrator seems more solid? Great FOSS still though

Good ideas that are beneficial, yes. However, there are a lot of less optimal solutions for the human race out there, some are even in production, e.g. tracking people, social media

How effective is that, I am wondering? My concern is that any tax that ends up as a cost will affect passengers and higher prices. Will that stop people from flying more? I dont' know. I know too little about this.

But you know and what you think is silly may be effective and better in the long run. We need more 'silly' ideas in order to find a good one. In contrast, you can't have unlimited flights either, where the toughest and most powerful airline can fly the most just because they can cope with high taxes. That would only favour the big airlines.

We see that this virus has been really effective in lowering emissions. We're talking about changing human behavioural patterns deep within, I don't think taxes can create such a strong force.

What do you mean by trade system? Not sure I understand that.

In relation to religion, this is interesting too, the Big-bang that happened 'randomly' could also be explained as a series of cause and effects. On another note, also a miracle according to scripture, could be a series of cause and effects fast-forwarded basically.

I've not written that many heavy applications in Python (Java mostly). I do like the dynamic nature of it. I find myself leaning more towars dynamic these days, appreciating Javascript today as well. I like the v.env side of Python. Many languages have this plumbing to get a project started and Python is the most comfortable of them all. Python is smart. Python is easy to teach also.
