I was very excited when this project first came about, but it has been pretty dead for a while. It seems like the creators made a TED talk about it, got some financing, and moved on. They're now focused on selling classes on building their version of an inexpensive house that they say will "change the world."

I've been using it most of this year, it's been really handy. I do wish there was a better way to manage attachments. Right now if you attach an image or document to a note, there's no easy way to download it, at least from the android app. You can select the image and get details, but no save/dl option.

I'd also love a way to see attachments on a note in a list, with download options. I have several notes with multiple docs attached, and I would like the option of downloading them all at once.

I also wish they took feedback directly. The last time I checked, they ha

They look great! Double-headed nails make great mini swords. I use them to show that I can make a sword in one heat. Smash it flat, file some small tapers and you're set. Plus, it fits in the hand of a lego person :P

The novel's protagonist is inspired by Warren Buffett. On August 14, 2011, Warren Buffett wrote an influential op-ed entitled, "Stop Coddling the Super-rich"

This wiki page implies that because Ralph Nader wrote the above article in 2011, he inspired the release of a book in 2009?

Ok I'm really glad you mentioned that. It didn't fully occur to me, and now I appreciate the book a lot more.

Except of course for the oversexualization of a 15 year old, and the authors poor attempts at "sexy writing."

More often then not, this boils down to the greatest common denominator. There's something you do or the way you look at things that is generating hostility. Just looking at your reply to the other comment makes that clear. While all of their suggestions seem obvious to you, you don't have to reply the way you did. Obvious contempt won't get you far socially.

I don't have a huge social network, but I have plenty of people that think favorably of me. My trick is to be kind. Sure sometimes people try to take advantage of me, but they're easy to spot and avoid.

Only the worst kind of people make enemies of those living a life of kindness. It's not always easy, but I think it's worth the effort.

Manually. There's a dial to turn it on, from low to high. One option I considered was a IoT motor of some kind to turn the knob for me.

Is this a good time to ask about a project I would like to do?

I have two 220v heaters in my garage, one on each floor. I'd like to turn one or both of them on from my phone. I'd also love temp sensors near each of them.

So far I haven't found a good FOSS option to control a 220v 40A relay. Any suggestions what to use or how to set it up would appreciated.
