Out of interest, is there any movement between your offices? For example - if I started with you in London, would it be possible to transfer to the SF office using an L1 visa?

Every crypto-currency has it's zealots but that's not to detract from what Snowden said about Monero, labelling it "amateur crypto".

Ring signatures have been around longer than zk-snarks so time will tell on that comment.

I do however believe Zcash could be doing a better job for privacy, notably by mandating private transactions once the new "JUBJUB"optimizations have been merged [0].

There's also the famous tweet were Zooko said he'd consider bypassing anonymity of ZCash in order to help authorities catch the WannaCry hackers [0] [lol j/k]

I like ZCash but I think Z-transactions (anonymous) should be the default as there has been advances in the performance and memory requirements [1]

My salary in the UK was £27.5k (North West England), I moved to Toronto and now I get paid £60,000 (about £70,000 including bonus and pension).

Best offer just prior to moving was £45k but that involved a move to London which would have hit my bottom line more than just staying put.

Toronto rents are about half London and other living costs are lower (electricity, transit etc).

Faster payments is one of the best systems I've used having lived in several countries. Paypal funds to a UK bank usually takes a few minutes.

Here in Canada they have the Interac E-Transfer which is money by email and not usually free $1-$2 per transfer.

It also has a question/answer security component which can be annoying if you simply want to send someone money.

Creating a private transaction uses up a lot of computation and memory resources.

No mining pool, exchange or high throughput business is going to send secure transactions.

Although, maybe they could charge extra for it.
