I do find the new app bafflingly lacking in even simple UX things. It's currently not possible to reorganize the play queue, or add songs to it.

On a more funny note, the app complains about lack of bluetooth access every time it starts. The primary case for bluetooth is to add units to the system, so it's not something that should be needed on a day-to-day basis.

Well, there's one.com, which I believe is a fairly honest hosting provider.

FAANG is shorthand for Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Google, not a specific tech stack.

Couldn't it be a simple test of whether the applicant had read the posting thoroughly? It's a quick filter to remove anyone who didn't manage to fulfill this no-effort criteria in their application.

A lot of applicants simply send their resumes to any position that is vaguely relevant, without diving into the details of the role.

This is way too simplified.

I'm tired of this mantra.

To me, crypto is starting to look less like the early internet, and more like the file-sharing mania of the late 90s early 00s, ie Napster, Kazaa, Limewire etc.

A very likely outcome is that crypto will continue to be around, like some of the file sharing services, but using them will be more and more irrelevant and frowned upon by most people, who prefer the ease of the legal media streaming platforms.

Saw a theory that their liquidation engine may have failed them during the LUNA meltdown.

Yeah, reading the sentence "Before starting the fundraising process, my first stop was to call up some VC friends of mine and ask them how to get things going" made me roll my eyes.

Rest of the article is interesting, though.

Shouldn't that lead to a team discussion about why the estimates differ so drastically? In most circumstances, the reasons would be inaccurate assessment of scope or complexity. Clearing up misconceptions like that can be a great boost for productivity.
