haha, I'm a genius and way smarter than you. So smart I didn't have to graduate high school. Ha, I dropped out of 10th grade.

--lol--

Jesus said "sell your possessions, give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven".

I didn't read the whole article, but it's a great question.

On my religious journey, I have read things like this:

"You cannot serve God and money".

Ultimately, the smartest people, if they are Christian, will actually get rid of their money.

I asked God about it and he told me this:

"There's not enough money for everyone. A truly good person lets everybody else have the money, and just lives on charity".

It shocked me, but Jesus told me this:

"You can get more done without money than with it".

He pointed out the queen of england will never know her true friends, as everybody acts like it.

But if you are poor, you have that knowledge, and can thus live a healthier life.

Ultimately money is based of terror. It is literally based on the terror that if you counterfeit it you go to jail.

So I think that good people would not want to use a medium that requires terror to function.

This may sound crazy, but I think, as a programmer, it is the truth!

But maybe I'm wrong?

I made this small language to demonstrate a proof of concept. A go like language that is compatible with javascript. Once I add python support, it will rule all languages! I need Claude Code for it, so please consider donating a claude code subscription to further development

Bro the numbers don’t lie. Look at the average income of doctors and price of medical equipment. Then look at % profit of insurance.

Insurance makes 20%. Doctors and suppliers make 5x what normal people make.

So the problem is with the laws preventing folks from becoming doctors.

I’m gonna fix this, it’s actually so easy, just need people to trust me.

I’m really good at this kind of stuff I just hate dealing with people because the average person is so certain the world can’t get better.

My problem is this:

Being homeless is not inherently wrong. But I feel when a society makes camping on common ground a crime - like native Americans did, it owes it to them to a) give them land to camp on or b) give them housing.

It shouldn’t be a crime to sleep, ever. It horrifies me that the “conservative” Supreme Court could deny the most fundamental right to existence, literally jailing people for sleeping.

I believe that school is a huge problem. Don’t give drugs, they can permanently mess up his mind.

ADHD and ADD are defense mechanisms the mind has. His brain is basically saying that what he is learning in school is a complete waste of his time. Even though we all do it, school is a really weird behavior! No animals do it and we aren’t designed for it.

I don’t believe that school is worth it for many people. They become business leaders etc.

Take him out of school and ask yourself what you would want if you were him. Then do it.

That’s my advice for anyone wondering what to do with adhd.

Until we understand consciousness, I think it perfectly reasonable to study the possibility of life after death.

If you think about it, consciousness doesn't exist in the material dimensions we understand. It's impossible to have an SI unit for happiness, for example.

So something within us is not material. Could it exist beyond the body? I think it's a question worth studying.

Prison has been proven to be a horrible idea (Stanford prison experiment) that turns normal people into monsters. The whole thing needs to be abolished.

Call me crazy, but the golden rule should be applied to all people. “Do to others what you would have them do to you”

I believe that if someone needs to be separated from others because they are dangerous or insane, the government should be obligated to say “this is what I would want done to me”, and treat them as such the entire time. Raw Punishment is asinine and insane, especially when the average person doesn’t even believe politicians who make the law are the most virtuous citizens.

From what I read openai is having trouble bc not enough data.

If u think about it, any videos on YouTube of real world data contribute to its understanding of physics at minimum. From what I gather they do pre training on tons of unstructured content first and that contributes to overall smartness.

It seems google has a massive advantage here since they can tap all of YouTube to train. I wonder what openai is using for its video data source.

That so weird, it’s seems like everybody here prefers Claude.

I’ve been using Claude and openai in copilot and I find even 4o seems to understand the problem better. O1 definitely seems to get it right more for me.

This may sound weird but I think the CHIPS act tempted intel to overextend. Counterintuitively they may even have been better without the money.

i don’t think problem was never lack of manufacturing capacity. I think it was process tech.

So I think the free govt money tempted them to invest in something that wasn’t mission critical - old node capacity, when they really needed r&d
