As I was reading this text, my hands started sweating, my head began to ache, and I felt the anguish and terror of reliving a traumatic experience all over again. I can’t even count how many times I’ve been stuck in a project that’s already behind schedule, where the client (I’m a freelancer, working directly with the person who has the requirement) throws in a ‘simple’ request like: change the style of that radio button so it matches this other one. The problem isn’t that—because of reasons like the ones explained in the article—I end up spending hours and hours on what looks like a trivial task. The real nightmare is when the client asks me: ‘Why are you taking so long to do something so dumb?’ It’s a nightmare. That’s why I ran away from React, because of this and countless similar situations, and went back to WordPress, where the world is so much simpler, the clients are happy, and so am I.

Furthermore, robotic exploration of Mars is already yielding sufficient evidence that Mars once had oceans. There is a well-founded suspicion that Europa and Titan have seas hidden beneath their surfaces. Does this article mean that all of this is just our imagination? I don't think so.

Everyone is celebrating and praising this beautiful and well-crafted game, and here I am maliciously thinking that if this game were to come to Steam, some evil curator would say “Not recommended” followed by a nonsensical and absurd explanation.

The last image of this article shows the bug supposedly solved. But it does not show the same image with the bug. The images to show the bug are from different points of view, where it is difficult to appreciate the problem as the last image does.

I don't believe that at this point there are still people who have their cryptos with them. These people already have “most wanted” style documentaries and almost all cryptos forums have in their FAQs “Not your keys, not your coins" warnings.

Well, we know this is not true. At least Armando Scannone had a team of 4 cooks to make and rehearse each and every one of the recipes in his famous cookbook [1]. Armando Scannone has a famous Venezuelan cookbook, it is the obligatory reference for those who want to make Venezuelan dishes. I have personally tried many of the dishes and the recipes are correct and the result is just as the book indicates.

In an interview, García Máquez, on reading the first sentence of The Metamorphosis, stopped reading and asked himself, is it possible to do this?

I think there is no problem using an editor like VisualCode or Notepad++. But you should have an editor like Emacs or in my case VI at hand. It is a lethal weapon to solve any problem in inhospitable environments where speed and power are required. I want to believe that VI or Emacs is like that gun that James Bond or Jim West has up his sleeve, and at the push of a button it deploys to your hand in case of emergency. Subtle, fast, and effective in emergencies.

I must be some kind of medieval purist because today in the middle of 2023 I still play the original rogue, in its 3.6.3 and 5.4 versions, and I can barely tolerate some of the changes. That's what I don't like about Hack and its "new" incarnation, Nethack. Changes were introduced that change the original spirit. I also played Moria and Adom for years with mixed results. I was never able to play Nethack. I'm going to try, maybe this time I will succeed.

I don't really know what has happened lately, but 20-25 years ago as a Sun vendor I was involved in or had knowledge of at least 10 large ERP projects, and in all of them SAP won. I don't have the details, but I got the feeling that all those customers discarded Oracle because it barely scored 2 or 3 points in the evaluation matrix. All of those SAP projects were a success. All of them.

Exactly, I was wondering what OP's motivation is for reminding us of this.

I wonder what taking responsibility actually means in practice.

Actually teracrawler.io and proxiesapi.com are build by the same person, same page design, same footer design (left column of topics, no privacy and terms policy pages), even is the same chat software with the same customer support operator picture.
