American here; studied and lived in France and participated in some big protests there. The US just doesn't have the protest/strike culture that Europe has, it's not part of our tradition; the majority of people don't even know how or understand the implications...Also most cities in the US are built for cars , not pedestrians and people on the street.

I am using a raspberry pi and a two axis turret with a pump and reservoir from a car windshield sprayer. right now it's just using differences in pixels to detect movement, by it it's keeping the balcony pigeon free! (a few false positives when a bumble bee flies too close to the camera though) I also have a yolo model version but haven't implemented it yet !

Ummm. I think the ideals behind it are perfect. Simplicity, clarity, ease of use, resilient. But I still can barley figure out how the comments and reply functions work. While I agree that the brutality/minimalist UI might perform a filtering function. I definitely think that some basic readability/usability improvements would be great.

i (naively?) thought that the thumbs up/down was coupled with info about what you watched, what you clicked on, what trailer you watched etc. is this not the case?

I think you can start by avoiding saying things like "I am not a good people person" You can try to understand what your benchmarks are for performance. Maybe you can say "Sometimes i feel shy" instead of "I am shy" . Do you see the difference between the two?

thanks for the reply; i do speak different languages! just no programming languages :) yes, i think thats what i was somehow trying to convey, that copying and pasting isnt sustainable and where to go from here; and maybe why? i realize from lurking here for years that most people on here seem to be highly skilled or at least have working knowledge of different programming languages, and maybe im wondering, is this how it works? you just do stuff the wrong way, get stuck, get unstuck, think its working, its not, etc etc, until you just learn how to do it the right way?
