I think its a good thing to bring light on this. I hope this will get both sides to draw up some boundaries for cyber war - at least we might get a relatively peaceful standoff so we can trade with each other.

A standoff is better than all out escalation with increasingly dramatic incursions and dialog where each side loses face, raising political tensions.

We should realize the beneficiaries of cyberwar escalation are the contractor companies coupled tightly to the NSA. I don't think that many hackers are getting rich, comfortable maybe, but not the big bucks.

If modern arms are cyber-warfare and information flow, then the arms to keep that power in check are computation, math, encryption, anonymity, private messaging, realtime chat, social networks, web graphics ...

So the right to bear arms in todays terms, I would argue, _is_ the right to a) private internet communications between parties and b) public information broadcast to everyone

This college dropout did what those at the NSA with PhDs failed to do in their responsibility to ensure that their organisation stayed within the spirit and laws of their mandate.

I think we miss engaging with quite a few students, because we focus on procedures and process rather than visualization in school [ I could be wrong, this is subjective, but at least we should try and explore different ways of presenting math ]

Khanacademy videos and GeoGebra might be useful also.
