This is cool to see. I'm from the area (although a different country), but when I was little, my father often said, 'fetch me the digitron,' referring to a pocket calculator. It was only after many years that I realized it's an actual company.

MS Paint IDE 5 years ago

It allows you to select a region of the screen, then copies it to your clipboard, so you can easily paste it to other programs. It’s the best workflow there is because it requires no other running tools, and the binding is even simpler than ctrl+cmd+shift+4 on MacOS.

Yes, they state it on the website as well: "See how well it does with your drawings and help teach it, just by playing."

Sounds like they could optimise the costs by encoding two versions of the video - one without the sound that would play by default, and the other when you click on the actual video.

The CDN invoice probably isn't the smallest of sums you can imagine :).

You know those black and white photos? I thought Russia looked like that with regular cameras :P.

Just kidding, this has to be one of the coolest projects I've ever seen. To make all this by yourself is just ... awesome.

A possible [January 2015] tag could be added here, because it happened a while ago. I can't wait for the integration to be released, though. Then we can finally ditch skype for good.

You should try My Talking Tom - http://talkingtomandfriends.com/tom/. (links to stores in the link). If you're more keen on female cats, there's also My Talking Angela (or other virtual pets from the series). Check it out, it's really well made and tons of fun ;).

"The technology also promises to be more secure than ordinary Wi-Fi as the light is unable to travel through walls, meaning that connections are more secure and there is less interference between devices."

I don't understand how there could be "less interference" between devices.. Ok I get the transfer range, but how about particles in the air, birds, etc? Wouldn't packet loss be an issue here if something interrupts the stream? Unless you had multiple transmitters repeating the data...

We all know that's not your Facebook profile. Now turn off the computer and go outside before you do yourself any harm.
