I can’t help but think that’s the real reasons he wants five billets from every federal worker every week. Free, hot, and fresh data!

This is very relevant to my industry (escape rooms). Our mailing lists quickly reach 10,000+ and unsubscribes happen often.

I was so focused on deliverability with Mailchimp that I didn’t realize (until I just checked) that I’ve been paying for 2,000 unsubscribers. I had assumed I wasn’t. Deleting them would have moved me down a tier. Strongly considering MailerLite now.

As a child I solved this problem by rotating my paper 90° to the right and writing “down”. Still do it til this day.

Although it gets awkward when someone wants to hold the paper for me while I sign. I have to gently tug it away from them so I can turn it.

go there and try to invest in ways to clean up the practice.

You think the problem that needs to be solved is “there”? This sentence makes me question whose consumption you’re referring to in the previous sentence.

True, but it seemed that OP was implying that he wasn’t sure he knew where every camera was. He clearly seemed to be concerned that there was a hidden camera in the clock. What do you suggest for that situation?

That’s a scary situation. I wonder how could someone maintain access to cameras without your WiFi login information? Maybe if the DVRs have cellular access, but I haven’t heard of those before. What an interesting problem. You mentioned your kids, but do you think you’ll ever feel like you’re not being watched?

Thanks. I figure I’ll get around to watching it next year. Although your description sounds a lot like his role in Ozark too.

As an escape room designer, I’m not sure I’ve seen malignant escapism in my industry. However, maybe it’s there among the players who have played 400 or even 500+ escape rooms. I like to think of my games and developmental escapism. At least while you’re getting away from real problems, you’re able to build up some soft skills that can actually benefit you in the real world.
