I think the difference here is how it functions in the music. Does the chord function as a CMaj7 in relation to the rest of the song, or does it function as an Emin6?

I think the idea is that "more capable" participants tend to make money off of "less capable" participants. And there are a lot more of the "less capable" ones.

With the top comments (now) all talking about the fact that this universal approximation theorem doesn't really have much impact in the real world. I wonder, is this interesting outside of theory? Has this motivated any techniques that have created (or may create) real-world, empirical results? Could it even?

I can imagine a future where AI can come up with new stylistic concepts, maybe even "predicting" how some music genre will evolves. which is certainly something I'd be interested in seeing explored. Imagine an AI that was able to come up with something remotely close to rock music after being fed 1930s-1940s blues music. It'd be pretty cool to see what it came up with after being fed music from the 2000-2010s.

I have no idea how accurate economists tend to be at predicting the future of the economy. I think its fair to say that economics has done a fair job of coming up with tools to deal with economic issues as the come up, and even preventing a fair amount that we never are even aware of.

I lived in Mount Pleasant, WI from 2005 to 2015, a few miles away from the Foxconn factory. Some of these comments are honestly extremely disappointing.

* Mount Pleasant is not some backwards county where people are "country-simple" (?), most people live in urban/sububurban areas with farmland quickly being eaten up for new construction. Milwaukee is 30 minutes away. Chicago is just over an hour.

* The economy of Mount Pleasant is not dying. Where you got that from is beyound me.

So what if it does? Unless we can accurately measure with infinite precision somehow, we can't store/retrieve an infinite amount of information.

And even if we could, is there a law of physics that would contradict? (I'm actually asking, I have no idea)
