I've been using plain text for over 10 years. It's simple to use, easy to modify, has as complex of a tag system as I would like, and will be around until heat death. Why fix what ain't broke.
Instead of e-ink displays, I wish companies would try to make strides in transflective lcds [0]. If more companies invested the time and resources, I think that the potential cost savings and technological benefits (such as a higher refresh rate and no ghosting) over e-ink would make a killing.
Right now, I only know of one commercial product [1] currently being made that is taking advantage of this untapped market.

You know what has the same, and even sometimes better, precision, requires no batteries, lasts a life time, and is usually a lot cheaper? Classic analog vernier slide calipers. You really don't need anything that fancy the get some exceptionally precise measurements.
Regarding their PCB design (visible on the bottom of the page, with additional details here [1], could someone explain why the optic part is separated from the rest of the board by a long, wavy connection?
I think the pcb has to be slightly bent to accommodate the angled position of the track ball. Making it like that helps alleviate stresses on the pcb.
Talk to a licensed therapist with a PhD or PsyD that specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). There are masters level therapist, however most of them don't have as much training as people with PhD's or PsyD's (it can be hit or miss with masters level clinicians). But really it's about finding someone that you can connect with.
CBT focuses on challenging behavior that goes against your goals and building an arsenal of cognitive tools to maintain behavior that helps you achieve your goals.
It's what most people with these kinds of problems need.

That's all I want from a search engine. I don't care about shopping or maps or any of the other 'features' all of these alternative are trying to implement. I want a gnu style search engine. I want something that "does one thing, and does it well," and I want that one thing to be 'search.'
Not to diminish the seriousness of this post but I'm a little curious why this site is named 'so fucking agile'. If it's just for shits and gigs then it would have been great if they called it 'sofa king agile'.

At this point, Valve has yet to disappoint me. Even their failures, like the Steam Controller, were amazing pieces of tech. The Steam Deck is no exception. It's exactly what I've been wanting: a SFFPC that doubles as a portable gaming console with Linux natively installed. Bravo Steam!
I think the coolest part for me is that now I know duck.com redirects to DuckDuckGo.
Even if it is faster than the M1, I'm done with Intel. The M1 is fast enough for my uses and there needs to be more disruption within the consumer chip market. I've been using ThinkPads with Intel CPU's for at least 15 years. My next laptop will be something with an M1 or better.

I've never had any problems with this. At this point, it's second nature for me to either use underscores for spaces, or camel caps if there aren't any single character words like 'i' or 'a' in my desired file name.
I understand the incentives, however, I think the biggest consequence of this is that it will give a false sense of support on conspiratorial videos and other forms of misinformation.
Some people think that the more likes a video has, the more the community agrees with it's message, and therefore the more truth the video contains. The classic appeal to the majority fallacy.
This is only going to strengthen those communities and empower them further.

When it comes to web hosting, archive.org maybe? Who knows if they'll exist in 500 years. But in terms of publically accessible webpages from generations past, they seem reliable to me.
