I haven't used zed specifically, but were you using your own API key for Claude? If so, you were probably running into the Anthropic API rate limits [1]. You can either a) deposit more funds to move your way up the tier list, or instead access Claude via something like OpenRouter, which will give you much higher limits.

This is the point - Apple doesn't have that information either. From the article, in the "How Private Relay works" section:

Somewhat OT - but from their FAQ they say they're targeting a price of $200M for the Overture. I'm certainly no expert, but this feels to some extent a bargain given the capability. Capacity 55-75 passengers. A few data points for comparison (all of these approximate of course, with multiple variants available of each):
Airbus A220 - $90M
Airbus A320neo - $110M
Boeing 787 - $140M
Boeing 777 - $320M
Airbus A350 - $325M
Gulfstream G700 - $75M
All of these can of course carry more passengers (except the Gulfstream), but assuming it's somewhat efficient from a fuel perspective, and assuming an airline could sell ~60 business class seats on each leg, I'm optimistic for them - cutting your trip time in half is certainly something to brag about.
For reference, as an example, a British Airways 787-9 used for transatlantic routes seats 8 first, 42 business, 39 premium economy, and 127 economy.
Leveraged index funds generally work as expected on an intraday basis - but they're not intended for longer term holds. You can of course try it, but things will not turn out as you'd hope. Here's an article describing what happens:

FYI, 1Password doesn’t force you to use their cloud service. Even if you subscribe (as opposed to standalone), you still don’t have to actually use it. I switched from an older standalone version to the current subscription version, but I’m not using their cloud service to sync my vault.
Purely out of curiosity - and you may not be able to, or may not want to answer - but how does a company like Stripe structure this sort of business? Are you making loans right out of your working capital, or do you have separate debt obligations of your own to cover these, or something else? I would imagine this sort of thing is regulated somehow, but I don’t really know... would love to hear whatever you can share!

Not sure why you’re being downvoted so hard - while I think your list of requirements perhaps aren’t the right ones, I like the idea in general. Have a process where I can make assurances of some form that we’re good guys, and treat me accordingly.
Have they said how traffic will be routed? If I'm in, say, the US, and I'm connecting to a web site in Australia, would the satellite I'm connected to send my traffic to a terrestrial router near me, and let it traverse from there via regular ground links to Australia? Or would my traffic travel via satellite to a terrestrial router near the destination?
This has evolved quite a bit since I last tried it - thanks for the reminder!

Well, while I appreciate you coming here to clarify, and waiving charges for 2019 sounds nice, there’s nothing in that post that says those charges won’t come into effect for the long term.
I guess I personally would want more color on that whole post-2019 egress situation before committing to using the service. That’s just me, though!
Love this new offering. What I don’t love is they are charging for egress bandwidth ($0.01/GB), even in the same data center [1]. I can understand it for outbound to internet or other data centers, but this is hard to swallow for the same facility.
Hopefully DO will reconsider this!
It also makes me wonder if all access to these databases is via the public network. I’m guessing so.

Don't understand this comment - seems to me Apple spends a _lot_. From their Q1 financial statement, cost of sales ("buying stuff and services") is $52.3B, and R&D and admin expenses are $8.7B. I think it's fair to say $61B is a "significant" amount they're spending during the quarter...
Many (most?) banks charge an outgoing wire fee. That $30 fee is probably the same whether you’re trying to wire $250 or $250,000, and is probably unrelated to _where_ you’re wiring the money to.
The only problem I ran into with the old Radar was a situation where a card was declined, and the customer contacted his bank to clear it up. The bank said they had no idea, they didn't decline the charge. When I followed up with Stripe, turns out Stripe declined the charge, and it never got to the bank.
Is there a way to tell when this happens in the Dashboard? There wasn't at the time, but I'm hoping this is maybe now visible somehow? It's obviously helpful to know when trying to help a customer resolve the situation.
To be fair here, and for people who might not know, Teslas do not "autonomously change lanes". When autopilot is active, the driver must initiate the lane change themselves, and it's the driver's responsibility to do so when it's safe. Tesla does not claim otherwise.

I think you're making an assumption here that your "dream life" is a destination. Which is a perfectly rational way of thinking.
But, alternatively, your dream life could instead be the journey. So, perhaps, rather than working at a job today to make your dreams come true later, maybe your dream instead is to do what you love today, and let the future take care of itself.
Not saying either is right or wrong - I know many people in each camp. Just saying there's two ways of thinking about it.
I would presume the tradeoff here is slower acquisition - if you're not on target, it likely requires more brainpower to _get_ on target. With goalpost sights, it's far easier to be misaligned, but you can't "lose" the target. (disclaimer - I've never used a peephole sight, so this is all speculation on my part!)
Sometimes software like Docker (in certain network configurations) will use iptables for its own purposes, clobbering some of your own iptables rules. Having an external firewall for access control is super advantageous in cases like this.
Title here is misleading. Actual title of article at LA Times is "Tesla had worse safety records than slaughterhouses and sawmills" - note "had", past tense. The records in question are from 2015, and as the article says, they are working on improvements.
Is that true? A superconductor magnet needs to be cooled down to temperature (say 4K), but does it generate heat once operating? Seems like heat would come from resistance in the coil, but this resistance is zero when at operating temperature.
