we have an optimized playground here: https://www.fal.ai/models/stable-cascade
thanks for the feedback codingwave! yes there is so much to add! wanted to highlight the potential with this demo
Earlier this week, we lost one of my favorite artists, Fernando Botero. I've always admired the whimsical and accessible nature of his artwork.
We trained a LoRA on his art style, and I am truly impressed by how effectively it captures his essence.
Some of my favorites: https://twitter.com/gorkemyurt/status/1704903418035454448
incredible job @ykhli! thank you for the fal.ai mention on the stack! https://github.com/a16z-infra/ai-town#stack
for anyone eager to generate their own simulation head to https://serverless.fal.ai/lora to create your own pixel art game characters
thanks for the interest, had some downtime but should be working now!
Sharing our reference application that we built using Stable Diffusion and Segment Anything.
Stable Diffusion + Segment Anything - https://www.editanything.ai/ (try out the app!)
We believe chaining different models can lead to impressive user experiences and as an AI product owner you can really differentiate yourself from others if you use several models in creative ways.

In the example there is python code to do the model inference as well as the javascript code to build the application. I believe this would be a great reference implementation for people trying to build their own AI apps.
Made a short video explaining the application: https://youtu.be/ob_WOogJn_A
If there is interest would love to do a walkthrough of the codebase with a video as well!
LLM models can still be leveraged to solve everyday problems of analytics engineers and data engineers. Transformation of unstructured text is a notoriously complicated problem almost every business faces every day.
Would you jump on the AI bandwagon if I told you that you that you can get rid of that 15 line regular expression that you keep around to do entity resolution or detect addresses?
Hi, I am the author of the post which parts did you find hard to follow?
High Resolution Version of the diagram if anyone is interested

I think its still "coming soon"

AI, VR and crypto all require GPUs and coming of age at the same time..
How do you carry your monitor? this has been a problem for me during covid. also there is the work chair problem..
"Egypt's military is the strongest in the region minus Israel." and minus Turkey
well Egypt is the downstream country in this case..
Outside of germany and poland most jews died in greece in the Holocaust. Salonika had a vibrant jewish population in early 1900s and now virtually no jews live in Salonika. During ottoman times greeks and jews were fierce enemies and killed each other in many occasions in Istanbul, Smyrna, Alexandria and Salonika.. Jews, mostly loyal to ottamans during the greek independence war were punished (aka murdered) by the greek army in many occasions.
Until very recently Turkey was only reporting symptomatic patients. After some pressure from healthcare unions they started reporting all positive cases.
Colonization was an internationally accepted standard doesn't mean it was fair.
Turkey and Ottoman Empire before her, was forced to sign many deals that hindered her development and let European counties pillage all the resources, this is just another one.
Well mainland Turkey is also inhabited by Greeks for a millennia they all converted to another religion and not called Greeks anymore. I don't think we can decide what's right and what's wrong by trying to analyze flimsy political identities.
UNCLOS is problematic when it comes to islands, disputes are usually solved on 1-1 agreements between countries or not solved like South China Sea. Google "Kastellorizo", a small island between Rhodes and Cyprus. Greece claims EZ on almost all the waters between Cyprus and Rhodes because of these 3 small islands.
Cyprus should not have been admitted to EU before accepting the Annan plan, unfortunately they were and now the last generation of Cypriot Turks and Greeks are getting old a solution is still far away..
Countries have no problem recognizing "British Overseas Territories" scattered around the world, conveniently 2 large town sized military bases in Cyprus, but when it comes to a less powerful country like Turkey using military power, this is reason for international isolation. Erdogan is taking it way too far now but it's been like this before him too. It's ruthless out there.
Have you been following the ridiculous Maritime EZ claims from the Greek nationalists? This is just a bargaining chip on the table.

And San Francisco? Our 4,100 new apartments is just one per 204 persons. Only three cities managed to do less: San Diego (225), Chicago (324), and New York City (396).
LIC is one of the few places New York NIMBYs allowed development
In case you didn't know SF has been building more housing/per capita than New York City for a while now..
Banks don't like to lend money to company with no tangible assets.
Probably lifted thousands of people out of poverty!
This is not Scranton, Pennsylvania no one drives 10 miles for lunch in San Francisco, city is only 7 miles wide
