Good idea, but make the workdays of everyday shorter so you still get same amount of hours of work done each day. I much prefer this method since whatever you were working on is still fresh in your head.

Also, some editors have their own rule for how many spaces a tab makes - some use 3 and some use 4 - or if you're like my designer co-worker, you manually use the space bar arbitrary. Gave me a big headache when looking for matching css selectors.

the $ is perhaps my favorite feature. I love being able to easily scan the code which parts are variables, and which parts are strings. This comes in really handy when your page has php, js, and html hacked together because you can more easily tell what language the code you are reading is in.

Sending emails has always been a problem for me. The email either gets placed in their spam box (people with aol and yahoo) or the email never arrive there at all (people with comcast and sbc emails). Does anyone have more additional information on how to fix this?

Although it's risky, building on top of another platform reduces your marketing time by greatly since you get free eyeballs already. Plus its more rewarding to build something that succeeded but getting screwed by a new TOS than it is to build something and waiting to get an audience and never succeeding. In other words, it's better to fail early or succeed early than it is to be in neither.

Sounds like a great idea. Maybe this will wake employers or even non technical people up that graduating with a computer science degree doesn't always (and usually they shouldn't have to) know everything from computer graphics, database management, system administration, application programming, and fixing your broken computer.

I frequently see "think outside the box" on many job postings on craigslist as if you can either have it or you don't type of attitude.

I rather it'd be a pie chart or a bar graph so I wouldn't have to scroll up and down the page to compare different companies.
