Why reindex everything? You just need to show the relevant information

What about influencers promoting products? I don't think there are any flags indicating that it's an ad

For me it's customization. I really like to customize my OS experience to my liking (both for efficiency and looks). In MacOS you cannot even change the location of the window buttons (minimize, maximize, close) or the order. I know it sounds nitpicky but it shows how little freedom it gives you

That was literally in August 1945. Basically using the confusion after the bombs were dropped to gain territory

Hmm yes there are multiple reasons. If you were to survive a nuclear explosion you are probably going to go through a slow and painful death that can go from minutes to years.

Depending on how affected you are, you can become literally poisonous to touch. And that's just for people affected by the explosion. Then there are the people that won't be able to go back home because of radiation. That's a different kind of pain. And yes, bombs also can bulldoze cities, but at least you can recover and reconstruct

Do you really think any European country was in shape to face Japan? Russia experienced a famine right after Germany capitulated, they almost lost Moscow, they received billions of dollars from the US to be able to finish the war. I think just trying to mobilize their troops to the east would have been unimaginable

I think you are right. But for non-native people this is already true. I feel like I can express myself in English the same as I would do in my native language. Sometimes using AI helps me pick a better word or a better way to phrase it.

I would never use AI to write in my native language though

What about centralizing the internet like Cloudfare is doing? Once corporate greed starts creeping we will find ourselves on the verge of pay per visit a website

Do you know if you can add hiking trails using StreetComplete? I noticed some trails are missing in my area and I would like to contribute

Exactly. I'm not saying that you should go back to code in assembly. But, come on, you can surely dedicate 30 minutes of your time to read how a CPU works... Just have curiosity would be my advice

Learning anything is worthwhile. Just because you code in Python it doesn't mean that knowing how instructions are processed in a CPU or the memory is managed is useless.

The excuse that we don't need to know how things work because AI will take care of it is going to bite a lot of people on their asses
